Alpha and Omega: The other way round

1. Introduction

This is somewhat similar to the movie, but in my story, Kate is an omega who lives with her sister Lilly and Humphrey is an alpha, the son of Winston and Eve (Plus he kinda does look like Winston), and he is the future leader of the pack. In the movie, Humphrey has a crush on Kate, but here, it's the other way round!!!

There were 4 packs of wolves that lived in Jasper park, Canada. They were the Eastern pack, the Western pack, the Northern pack and the Southern pack. They would try to survive by hunting and killing caribou and each pack was led by a male alpha and a female alpha.

Kate was a golden-brown female wolf who belonged to the Western pack. She was one of the most beautiful wolves in her pack. She had a medium length golden mane. Her younger sister Lilly, a white wolf, was the only one she had in her family. They both were one of the Omegas and so, they were at the bottom of the pack. She was quite fun-loving, friendly, cheerful and she would spend her days log-riding with her sister without a care in the world.

Humphrey on the other hand, was a very serious and strong alpha. He was a greyish-black wolf and had eyes as blue as the ocean. He had a black mane and long hackles of different shades of grey at the top of his back that looked like hair. He was very confident in everything he did. However, one thing he never knew was that Kate had a huge crush on him.
"WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!" Kate screamed happily as she and Lilly were enjoying riding a tree log down a mountain slope. "This is amaziiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggg!!!!" Lilly yelled. "I KNOOOOOOW!" Kate yelled back. "AAH THERE'S A TREE IN THE FRONT!!" Lily yelped. "Roll right!!" Kate said as she turned her log towards the right of the tree and doged it. "Nice job sis!" Lilly said. "Thanks!" Kate chirped, "We'll be down the mountain in no time!" She said. After they reached, they were still speeding through the forest due to the momentum, when Kate spotted someone ahead. "Woah Lilly stop the ride! Someone's in the way!!" "I can't its too fast!" She shouted. However before they could do anything the log suddenly flew off a ledge, sending Lilly and Kate flying and it broke on contact with the ground. Lilly landed up falling in a lake and quickly swam out of the water body, shaking her whole body to get the water off. Whereas Kate landed directly on the wolf who was in the way.
"Ow.... "Kate said as she tried to regain her consciousness. "Ouch... What the... Oh hey! Kate is that you...?" Kate's eyes widened when she realized she fell directly on none other than Humphrey. "Oh uh, hi Humphrey! What are you doing??" She said nervously. Humphrey looked at her and said, "Waiting for you to get off me..???" He said. "Oh um- sorry!" She said as she got off his body. "Its ok!".
It was spring, and Humphrey had just returned from Alpha school which was of approximately 4-5 months. So, he and Kate hadn't seen eachother for a long time. "Wow... You look... really very different...... "He said as he examined her. "Yeah you too.... "Kate said. 'He looks so well built and handsome now... ' she thought. "Hey Kate! I'm back!" Lilly came from within the woods. She gasped, "Oh hi Humphrey its so good to see you again!" Lilly said. "Hey there Lilly!"Humphrey happily said, "Glad to see you too! You look so...... soaked??"
"Oh yes. Actually, me and Kate were riding a log and I fell in a lake after we accidentally jumped off a ledge." She explained. "Oh." Kate and Humphrey said at the same time. "Well, we should head back to the den. It's lunch time anyways." Humphrey said. "Yeah let's go then." Kate said as she and Lilly followed him.
