•Chapter 10• Hugs

Gabriel's POV
I wake up to us in the middle of the road again, on our way to Richmond. Another long time on the road again. This is going to be fun.

"They're just in front of us barely, we're going to make a pit stop at the supermarket about 15 miles up west." Javi said.

I groan with...actually not annoyance this time. I groan on how tired I was. It was probably 7:35 in the morning but it was burning daylight.

I use to hate supply runs but now, since I have so many people with me now, I actually like it now.

I finally have taken responsibility for my sister and have noticed my surroundings. Back then, before all this, I never payed attention to the apocalypse. I was to busy complaining for half of this experience.

I'm older now, (actually only by like a week) but I feel older, more capable, responsible, stronger.

Clementine's POV
It's about 6:30am when I wake up. I see Tripp and Conrad switch places for driving. The car hasn't started yet, which could mean Javier isn't awake yet to tell us where to go.

Finally around 7:00am, Javi is awake and tells us there is a supermarket about 15 miles west.

"Alright, let's head there then" Conrad said.

After last night...I barely slept. Seriously. I was too paranoid.

Probably got a good 3 hours of sleep.

I glance at Elenor and Carl who are still asleep.

"I cant wait to see your ass die" I thought to myself as I saw Carl.

His eyes slowly move upwards. The fuckers awake. It's about 7:30 ish. I turn back to my seat as fast as possible, trying to make it seem that I wasn't staring at him.

"Morning Princess~"

I then flip him off.

"Geez ok ok, if you don't wanna talk, then fine, but this conversation is not finished"

"Here lemme finish it for you" I told him quickly.

"I am not into you. Stop calling me these names as if I was your girlfriend. I never will nor I never want to be. Don't even try going to Gabe to beat his ass because I will be watching. Plus he didn't nothing wro-"

"Are you fucking kidding me? He 'did nothing wrong' ? Oh please, cant you see Clem-"

"It's CLEMENTINE."

"Fine. Cant you see Clementine, that loser is in love with you!"

"Ugh! Stop saying that! No he isn't! Shut the fuck up and never speak to me again. After what you did last night...was unforgivable."

"You know...you could've enjoyed it, but you chose to be a bitch about it and not enjoy it"

"Fuck you."

This kid is getting on my nerves. Can someone just kill him already? Please?

~7 hours later~

Third Person POV
The cars finally arrived at the supermarket. It took them forever but they made it.

Conrad and Tripp were first to get out, meanwhile Javi and Kate headed out as well.

Javi always has the plans on these supply runs. Even if people hate their job...or partner they manage to still do it without complaints.

Elenor got out meanwhile Carl followed her out. Then Mariana got out of the car.
And finally it was Gabe and Clem left, they both get out of the car.
