I entered the school building and went to the girl's room. I needed to check if I still looked like I had just gotten out of bed. Some of my hair was definitely out of place and I combed it with my hands to get it back into place and the knots out. I turned around and smiled at one of the graffiti's in the stall across from me. It was one of the few left after Chloe's tag attack three years ago. "Classic Chloe" I said to myself before I left the bathroom again and saw Max talking to the one Vortex Club member, Courtney I believe.

"Super Max" I said and walked over to her. "Hey, Ronnie" She replied. She seemed to feel the same way I felt right now. "Ronnie, could you get us some pot for the party? I'll set you on the guest list. Max is own it" Courtney said. "How about I don't get you pot, but you put me on the list anyways as an apology for thinking you could use me like that" I said. "I- I'm sorry" She said. "You should be! Just because I'm dating Frank, doesn't mean I'm your ticket to free pot, do you get that?!" I asked, tilting my head a little. "Yes, I'm sorry Ronnie!" She said and wrote my name down on the guest list.

"I'll see you then" Max said and walked off with me. "Are you always that rude?" She asked and I gave her a smirk "Just to people I don't like, so you can call yourself lucky. I don't hate you yet" I said and we walked towards the Chemistry Lab. "You want to check up on Warren, don't you?" I asked. "Just to say hello" She said, then were stopped by Dickhead Madsen. "Max, can we talk?" He asked and we walked over to him. "I know things got a little heated yesterday in Chloe's room... Was that really your reefer?" She asked. "Yes, it was. You know that marijuana is almost legal in Oregon. I can get it at Blackwell" She said and I looked at her. "That's bullshit. It was mine, I asked her to put it into her bag so I wouldn't lose it. Hard to get the good stuff around here" I said. "You seriously think I'm going to believe that? I know about Frank Bowers and I know that the two of you are linked" He said and I rolled my eyes. "So what you are saying is, that if Frank had stuff, it would be good?" I asked. "Ronnie, stop lying. It was mine" Max interrupted, then looked at Dickhead Madsen "Are you going to bust me now, Mr. Madsen?" "Even I'm not that much of an asshole... And I am sorry about yesterday. I was wrong, but upset. Cannabis is not a big deal to you, but it has been to Chloe"

"You're a combat veteran. She's no threat to you" Max defended my sister. "If I didn't care about her or Clare, wherever she is, I wouldn't care at all. When I was her age, I was out raising a lot more hell. She's better than that. All you kids are. So is Kate Marsh" He said and I looked down. "What about Kate? She isn't a bad kid. Not at all!" I said. "You stepped between us at a pretty bad time. She's another matter entirely" He said. "Kate hasn't done anything wrong!" Max once against defended a friend towards David. "Girls, this isn't just about Kate Marsh. My concern is for the safety of all Blackwell students. Including the two of you" "That'll take more than surveillance cameras" "It will take more than Ms. Grant and her petition to find missing students" He said.

"Don't you think it's a little late than for cameras? They won't help Rachel anymore!" I said upset. Rachel always had this effect on me. She was my best friend. Nothing against Warren, but I couldn't talk to him about all those female troubles. It was great to have Rachel for that.

"Isn't that your responsibility as head of security? Unless you know something about Rachel Amber that nobody else does!" Max said, questioning David. I didn't even think about that. Maybe he does know more than I originally thought.

"I don't want to fight with you two anymore. I don't want to fight with anyone anymore. That's all, Max" He said and let us go. "Weirdo" I said as I walked off with Max together. I honestly didn't care if he could hear me or not.

We then entered the room together. "Einstein, cracked the code yet?" I asked, shocked at my words, since he obviously knew that that was something Clare would always say. "What?" He asked confused. I guess he didn't really realize what I was saying. "Looks to me like someone doesn't have the science skills he thought he did" I said, leaning against the table. "Thanks a lot Ronnie, I just can't figure out this experiment" He said. "So Einstein needs help?" I asked. "Asking us for help, you're screwed" Max said and I let out a laugh. "I have to add either a bit of potassium or sodium. It's up to you to decide" He said. "I'd say lost and lost of potassium" I said with a smirk. "That smirk scares me, but I'm going to believe you on this one" Warren said and I laughed about him, but hid it. Only Max saw it.  "What is your plan?" She asked. "You'll see" I said and walked a few steps away just to be save.
