The New Choreographer (Yugyeom x Reader)

Chapter 18~ 눈물

(Sorry this chapter is kinda sad I wrote the beginning of it after crying for Jonghyun)

There was about only one minute the entire day that you were happy. It was when you had just woken up. That first minute of being awake you had totally forgotten about what had happened backstage with Got7's manager. After that minute, all your memories came back, and all you wanted to do was crawl far under your covers and go back to sleep.

You were wearing pajama bottoms that had bright yellow smiley faces on them, the exact opposite of what you were feeling. You knew you needed to go take a shower as well as take care of your dog, but your body felt like it was stuck in quicksand, the more you struggled against your sadness the more it pulled you in. You thought if you went back to sleep the pain would be numbed for at least a little while.

You just woke up and you couldn't go back to sleep, so you laid in bed an extra two hours staring at the wall. Every time you tried to think about what was going to happen your eyes teared up. You would have stayed in bed longer if your dog didn't start barking at you because you had yet to feed her. Once you were out of bed you gave you dog her food and grabbed yourself a glass of water. You weren't hungry at all despite not eating since yesterday afternoon. You did feel dehydrated however from crying so much in the past twelve hours.

Before you crawled back into bed you checked your laptop and noticed you had an email from JYP himself. When you opened it you expected it to be exactly what it was. You were supposed to report to his office at the JYP building to determine your punishment for breaking your contract. You could tell this was going to be serious by how unfeeling and business-esk JYP's message had been. You turned both your laptop and phone off then headed back into bed.

Time felt still for you as if the world stopped moving because it wanted to drag out this feeling of sadness. You just hoped that tomorrow when you went to see JYP, you could convince him to somehow not punish Yugyeom in any way. It was your fault for not having any restraint and you would hate yourself if Yugyeom received a severe punishment because of your actions.

You were so miserable. The rest of the day you laid in bed except once to use the restroom and to take your dog outside. You were dreading going to see JYP tomorrow and worse finding out what would happen to Yugyeom because of you.

It was about five in the afternoon when Got7 arrived together at the concert arena. They all rode together from the hotel and it was obvious to all of them that something was wrong with Yugyeom. Normally he would be excited for concert days, making jokes, laughing, teasing his hyungs. Today he was silent, listen to music the entire way over, barely saying anything.

JB could guess why he was acting so off today but he couldn't tell the other members unless Yugyeom wanted him to. Jackson and Jinyoung both tried asking JB if he knew what was going on with Yugyeom but he would just shrug and pretend he didn't know. When Yugyeom was getting his hair and makeup done he continued to be silent, ignoring his hyungs who were all messing around goofing off in the room. After Yugyeom finished getting his hair done all the members headed to the stage to practice together. Since Soomin wasn't there and no one had specifically said why she wasn't there Got7 started asking questions. JB tried to keep the members focused and lead the rehearsal but painfully obvious that the concert was not going to go well.

The first song Got7 performed on stage was You Are and immediately Yugyeom was making mistakes he would never make in a million years. He was late in timing, his facial expressions when it was his turn to sing were blank and lukewarm, and had no energy like a robot missing one of his batteries.

Between songs, the other members kept making glances at each other especially at JB. They didn't know what to do since there were hundreds of fans watching there every move. About halfway through the concert, it was time for the MC to talk to Got7. Mark, Yugyeom, and JB were sitting closest to Kim Young-Chul the MC (He's from Knowing Brothers). Everything seemed fine while Young-Chul was asking questions, when there was a question for Yugyeom JB would try to answer for him without it looking obvious.
