The New Choreographer (Yugyeom x Reader)

Chapter 10~ Group Date

You knew you couldn't say no since you were already taking Yugyeom. "Uh, sure we don't know where we're going yet" A few minutes passed of Bambam, Youngjae, JB, and Yugyeom trying to pick a place they all wanted to eat. You didn't really care you were just hungry and wanted to eat something. They had decided on an udon place that wasn't too far from the JYP building.

You turned off the lights and locked the doors to the studio once everyone had left. You all stood in the lobby for a moment. You looked confused as Youngjae and Bambam started walking out the front doors pulling their umbrellas out. Yugyeom chuckled at the pair while JB looked at them as if they were stupid. "I have my car we don't have to walk..." You commented pulling your keys from your purse, shaking them to grab their attention. Bambam and Youngjae turned around and laughed running back into the building. You all walked in the other direction heading to where you had parked your car. You thought Yugyeom would sit in the front since he was the person you actually invited to come eat with, but instead, JB sat in the passenger seat and Yugyeom sat between Bambam and Youngjae since he was the youngest. Your car wasn't that big, the back seat wasn't meant for three full-grown men so Yugyeom's knees were squished together since he was so tall.

It was about a twenty-minute drive to the restaurant when you parked you all got out together. Thankfully the rain had stopped while you were driving. It was weird to you, to see how Got7 acted when they all weren't together. They seemed much more mannered and composed. Normally from what you saw, Bambam was very much a wild child, but at this moment he was very calm and looked very chic how he walked into the restaurant and asked for a table. You stood next to JB and Yugyeom while you waited to be seated. You chatted about the You Are dance for five minutes or so before you were all seated at a booth table near the windows of the restaurant.

Everyone had ordered regular udon dishes, except for you. You had stressed to the waitress that you couldn't have any celery in yours because you were severely allergic. Other than that you had really enjoyed having dinner with all the Got7 members that joined you. You sat next to Youngjae and JB and across from Yugyeom and Bambam. The food was delicious and it was a lot of fun eating together. Unlike what you expected this meal compared to when you went and got barbecue with all the members this was more relaxed and less loud.

The funniest part of the night was when Bambam started to tell an embarrassing story about Yugyeom. Youngjae laughed so hard part of his noodles came out of his nose. You had also noticed most of the dinner Yugyeom looked at you. He barely took his eyes off of you, maybe because he was right across from you or that you were in between JB and Youngjae. You tried not to read to much into it. Overall the meal was very good your udon came out rather quickly and the restaurant made it perfectly just how you liked your noodles cooked. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food too, you and Yugyeom tried each others and his tasted even better than yours. You were really happy, the being with so many people eating felt like a big family dinner or something, which you never really experienced. You and JB split the bill, which you were totally fine with since you just got paid a few days ago.

After you finished the meal you and got back in the car you noticed it was already eleven at night. Time had flown by very fast. On the way back to Got7's dorms Yugyeom had sat in the front with the others in the back and Youngjae in the middle this time. On the drive home, it was pretty quiet. Youngjae had fallen asleep on JB's shoulder and Bambam was slowly drifting off as he stared out the window. You JB and Yugyeom had spent the drive talking about Got7's schedule and how busy they were going to be after their album released and all the concerts they were going to perform.

They both seemed really excited, they were proud of their new album since they composed almost everything by themselves. You felt happy for them and happy you could be there to experience it with them. Some of the beginning concerts you hoped you would get to go to but that wasn't up to you.

When you reached the apartment building where Got7's dormitory was at you parked and got out with the members so you could say goodbye. You nodded to the half-asleep Youngjae and Bambam and they slowly made their way into the building saying goodbye rather quickly. JB was very polite and thanked you for the meal and apologized for intruding earlier in the day and inviting themselves to dinner. As he walked away it was just you and Yugyeom standing on the sidewalk next to your car. Yugyeom had stood patiently waiting for the other members to leave but when they were all gone he just stared at you. So you decided to speak first.

"Today was really fun. I really like choreographing with you and getting to dance with you despite being interrupted" you were smiling with your cheeks turning red as you remembered how embarrassing the dance was. "Yea I really liked it too" Yugyeom smiled back before looking at the doors to the apartment building. It was as if he was making sure no one was watching but it was impossible to tell since it was so dark. "Maybe we could get dinner sometime just the two of us" Yugyeom pulled his hands from his pockets and reach out and grabbed yours.

It was like a scene of a romance movie. Yugyeom rubbed his thumbs over the tops of your hands pulling close to him gently. Blood rushed to your face turning it bright pink. "T-that sounds like a date then" You tried not to sound nervous. "I guess it'll be a date then" After Yugyeom said this it went silent, except for the occasional car that passed by. You didn't know what to do, you were frozen in that spot staring at Yugyeom and his dandelion colored hair.

Suddenly you felt a drop hit your head. Then another, and another, until you realized it was staring to rain again. You and Yugyeom started to laugh, he let go of your hands trying to pull out his umbrella to protect you from the rain. Once he opened his umbrella you both stood under it, moving closer together so you both fit underneath. "Will you be in the studio tomorrow?" Yugyeom asked. "Yea mostly in the evening though, since we got so much done today I was going to do something in the morning"

"If I came around five or so would you be mad" Yugyeom joked knowing you wouldn't be. "Yea I would be so mad haha," You said sarcastically. "I like when you're around" you smiled. "I like being with you" Yugyeom started leaning in towards you. You could feel his breath against your skin while closing your eyes. You could smell his ocean-like cologne. You pursed your lips open anticipating Yugyeom's lips to connect with yours.

Just as Yugyeom was going to kiss you a car pulled up behind yours, their headlight lite up the street. You and Yugyeom suddenly pulled away sad and disappointed as reality hit. The person that came out of the car was a random person neither of you had seen before, but you thought worryingly that it was going to be Park Jinyoung or someone important. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." Yugyeom said rubbing the back of his neck. "No, I'm sorry I don't want you to get in trouble cause of me" You suddenly moved away from Yugyeom and walked around your car, ignoring the rain pouring down on you.

You glanced up and noticed the face Yugyeom was making at you. He looked confused and sad like he wanted to stop you but couldn't. "I'll see you tomorrow " You forced a smile on your face before you dove into the driver's seat. You quickly turned on your car and began to pull out. You looked in your rearview mirror and watch a sad looking Yugyeom begin to disappear in the distance. He didn't move from the sidewalk or look away from you. He watched you leave until he could not see you. Disappointed in himself because he thought he upset you and made you mad.
