After you had finished shopping you and Yugyeom headed back to the hotel and changed into nicer attire. You knew you mom pretty well and if she was going to pick where you were going to eat she would pick someplace that was pretty fancy and make a big deal out of it. Yugyeom put on the dress shirt and sweater you had gotten him for his birthday with ripped blue jeans.
You tried to match your outfit with his so you were wearing a short baby blue dress that had a heart neckline and a cute bow in the front. You decided to french braid your hair into a high bun while putting the minimal amount of makeup since you were just going to have to wash it off in a few hours before sleeping. You helped Yugyeom too and did his makeup for him, even though you told him he didn't need to put any on.
For some reason, he seemed extra worried about how he looked. "It's just my Mother" You had said to him but he said he wanted to dress up anyways. Once you both were finished getting ready you put on a beige pair of heels and grabbed your purse and headed with Yugyeom to the lobby of the hotel.

About a quarter to six you took a taxi to the park where you were meeting your mom. Since it was almost summer the days were starting to get longer so the sun was just starting to set. The sky was a yellow gold color that was slowly going to fade into the night skyline.
You arrived just in time to the park and found your mom sitting on a bench next to a fountain in the middle of the park. Of course, your instincts were right. The second you saw your mom you knew you were going to eat somewhere fancy.
She had on her only super fancy dress and had done her hair the same way she would for special occasions. "Hi Mom" You called to her from a few feet away as you and Yugyeom walked up. Once she noticed you she stood up and waved. "Don't you two look adorable" She commented with a smile extending her arms out to hug you and Yugyeom.
"I'm so happy to see you" You muttered into your mom's ear while you were hugging. "Come on you too" You mom looked over at Yugyeom. He was clearly not expecting your mom to hug him, but your mom was American and grew up hugging everyone that was apart of the family. And in her eyes, Yugyeom was apart of the family.
"So where are we eating?" You asked once your mom and Yugyeom finished hugging. "Oh just at a restaurant down the street," She said nonchalantly. You looked over to her side and nodding in the direction of where the restaurant was.
