It was finally Valentine's day, a day you thought about so little you didn't even remember that it was coming up until Yugyeom asked you about it. Two weeks ago he had asked you if you knew if you had to work and at the time you didn't, but recently JYP told you that you were needed to work on a dance with Stray Kids all day on Valentine's day.
You felt bad, Yugyeom told you he had planned something for you but now that you had to work you couldn't celebrate with him. He never told you what he had planned for the holiday but still keeping your relationship a secret you couldn't just go out and have dinner in public. He would have had to make plans that would be private.
You were at least thankful that Yugyeom said he could spend the day recording for Got7's new album, and that he wasn't upset that you couldn't spend the day with him. The last thing you texted him was inviting him over for dinner to make up and have a low key date at your house. You actually got Yugyeom a pair of headphones he said he had been wanted for a while, but since you wouldn't see him until late in the day you left it at your house.
You tried not to think about that as you headed to the dance studio to work with Stray Kids. Since you were going to be dancing you were wearing an old oversized navy blue t-shirt and randomly patterned leggings. You had put your hair up in a ponytail and wore very little makeup.
As you made your way down the stairs to the dance studio you could feel that something was off. There was no one sitting at the front desk and you had yet to see a single person in the building. When you reached the third-floor basement you grew more suspicious that you could not hear any music or any people for that matter. It was dead silence, you always arrived at rehearsals early but normally when you arrived there would normally be at least a couple members just hanging out in the studio.
You reached for the keys to the studio door from your purse. You opened the door slowly, worried that this could be some elaborate retaliation for scaring Got7 back in Japan. The dance studio lights were off, at your feet were rose petals. You were immediately confused. You followed the path of rose petal with your eyes to a small table covered with a white cloth and candle in the center of the room. "What the hell?" You said out loud walking into the room, reaching your hand out for the light switch against the wall.
When the lights came on you could now see Yugyeom standing behind the table wearing a black suit with a plain white dress shirt underneath. "What is this?" You looked over at Yugyeom. "Happy Valentine's day" He smiled and pulled one of the chairs set up with the table out. You walked over taking a seat setting your bag down on the floor.
"So how did you get JYP to tell me I had a rehearsal with Stray Kids today?" You wanted to know how elaborate this surprise was. "Not hard I just asked him to sent you an email that you needed to be here" Yugyeom smiled as he poured a bottle of wine into two glasses. "Ah" You smiled taking one of the glasses sipping on the wine. "I feel a little under-dressed with you in such a nice suit" You looked at your own workout styled attire. "Well after we eat I have another surprise for you" Yugyeom smirked trying not to give away too much.
