Since you have been Got7's choreographer for so long you've had to go to countless number of meetings. Most didn't pertain to you at all but you were required to go as their choreographer. Now that Got7 was preparing to showcase their new album Eyes on You in the next couple of weeks it seemed like you were forced to go to more and more meetings.
Most of the time you just sat quietly while everyone else talked. You were only there so you could get the sense of what the higher-ups wanted in regards to feel towards the new album. Today, there was supposed to be a meeting at one, but you had no idea what it was about. Normally you would be told beforehand but today all they mentioned was that there would be people from outside of JYP in the meeting.
You wanted to look professional so you put on a navy blue pencil skirt and a black blouse, that had long loose sleeves. You put your hair up in a low bun and wore a pair of fake turtle-shell colored glasses. You decided to arrive thirty minutes early to the meeting just in case. After reaching the third floor of the JYP building, you found the meeting room and took a seat by the window towards the end.
After a few minutes of staring at your phone, people started to arrive. There were a few higher-ups from JYP including JYP himself, three people from Mnet you recognized, and surprisingly the leaders of the dance crews Hype Up and Body&Soul. You only knew it was them because you had become friends with some of their members a few years back when you were studying dancing. The leader of Hype Up helped you quite a bit when you were still not very confident in your dance abilities. They both took a seat on either side of you. Normally you would high five the two guys but since you wanted to be professional in front of the high-ups you just nodded politely.
"Do you know what this meeting is about no one has told me?" You asked when both guys sat down next to you. "Supposedly Mnet is asking Yugyeom to compete on the first few episodes of the second season of Hit the Stage" The leader of Hype Up whispered to you.
Your eyes grew wide before you could respond Yugyeom entered the room taking a seat at the end of the table and the meeting began. "Hello we are from Mnet, we came here today to confirm that Kim Yugyeom will be participating in the first two episodes and possible the third and fourth of Hit the Stage" A tall skinny man sitting on the other side of the table stood up and began speaking.
"Yes he will be participating along with Hype Up, Body&Soul, and Got7's dance choreographer Soomin" JYP answered back. 'What?!?' You thought. You were surprised, no one had told you that you would be participating in the show until now. "So production begins in two days here is the theme for each dance for the first two episodes as well as a list of the other idols competing alongside Yugyeom. Also in the second episode, each idol will only be dancing with one other person of the opposite gender" The man passed a sheets of paper down the table.
