PETER

I meet Dianna at the mall...but it's kinda weird, I can't understand why my heart beats fast like it's seeing it's owner...and I swear it is not Dianna and I am 100x sure of that.

I look around for a while to search the place and my heart almost stop as I caught a glimpse of familiar torso of someone but I am not sure and it disappears to nowhere on a blink of an eye, so maybe I'm just missing her too much that I'm seeing things.

"Hey, let's go." Dianna grab my arm and drag me. We went to random stores trying to find what she needs which I don't have any idea what is it. She's very different, my princess will go here, knows what she needs and where to find it and then go home.

Again, my heart jumps from my chest and wants to run away from me towards I didn't actually know where when I smell a familiar scent, it's the hypnotic Poison but then I got disappointed when I realized that were at Octagon across the DIOR... but I know that fragrance very well, it isn't just the perfume.

"Peter what's with you?" Dianna ask me, I shook my head and helped her find what she needs.

"Which artists do you like by the way?" I asked her, we're on a music shop.

"Hmmm... I don't have many, I love Beyonce but I have all her albums..." She said, so technically were just looking for what she might like.

"How about this?" I said showing her a random artists. She shook her head no. I shrug.

"Peter...kiss me!" Dianna suddenly cupped my face. I look at her asking. "Move! Dad's spy is here..." She said sweetly, pretending of course. I smiled at her...and made our lips meet.

"Good boy..." She teased me as we parted. I just laugh at her.

"Ewww...mummy why do they do that in public? You don't do that with people around right?"

I swear I hear a child ask that to his mother... and I don't know why my mind tells me to look for him and his mum... I saw a woman turned on the racks of CDs at the back of the shop. My heart starts beating fast and I am half way there when Dianna calls for me.

"Peter! Found her!" She said...who is she talking about? I glance at the corner one last time and contemplating if I should go there or back to my fiance when Dianna grabs my hand.

"Look, are you familiar with her?" She said showing me two CDs of the same artist... of course, I know her with all my heart and my soul.

"Well, I've heard a lot about her from states but I am obsessed with Beyonce I couldn't give other artist a chance." She said shrugging as I didn't answer her.

"She loves Beyonce too." I couldn't help but tell her that.

"Is she?" She asked me. I nodded...

"He loves her so much...he turns me down." She said sadly and almost a whisper but enough for me to hear.

Right...she loves someone else that's why we understand each other, in this arrangement, both of us pretends that we agreed to this just to please his father and to honor their wish.

"Daddy!" I hear the same voice of a child behind me so I turned around...and the sight of them kills not only me but Dianna too.

Don't tell me the one she's in love is him..?

I guess my heart knows better...it feels it's owners presence.

ADELE

My heart  shuttered a million pieces seeing him with someone else, I wished him happiness but I can't be happy for him.

"Ewwww..." I hear peanut says which pulled me back to present, I cover his eyes and I lead him on the back. We're at Octagon, I'm trying to look for music that I could relate. "Why do the do that in public? You don't do that with people around right?" He asked disgusted.

"Of course peanut... mummy will never do that in public." I whispered to him.

"Wait, I'll call someone." I told him as I reached my phone. I'm watching Angelo and I smile as he pays great interest to music too.

"Hello, Souf...are you busy? Can you help me...I'm here at Octagon and Peter is here too with his fiance...please save me." I said almost crying but I shouldn't. I don't know how to face him.

I hang up as soon as he says he'll be there in a minute. We have business ventures together and one of it's chains is in here at the mall which is the main branch.

We put up a restaurant and I planned to go there after I bought everything I need but I guess I need him now.

I walk over to peanut and pick him up, he asks about some artist he sees on the racks of CDs and I gladly tell him.

Soufian arrives and Angelo is so thrilled to see him. "Daddy!"

Yup, all my children called all my male close friends as daddy and all my female close friends as mummy too, just like my friends call my mum as mum penny too. I like it that way.

Soufian kiss me on my cheeks and I smiled at him mouthing thank you.

He just smiled at me... he moved on already, in fact he was in love with someone else but he's not yet introducing her to us.

"Princess..." Shit! I wanted to burst out crying for hearing it after so many years. I look at him and he's looking at us.

I caught a sight of anger in his eyes but it disappears immediately.

"Peter..." I said and I nodded to him. "Hi..." I look at the woman beside him. She's beautiful, she's sexy...she's stunning...and they look good together.

This is my first time seeing him in person after five years and I'm not gonna lie, he looks better, I guess having without me do him good.

"Veene! Glad to see you here...Dianna." Souf says breaking the tension...I can hear sadness on Souf's voice and the lady with Peter looked down.

"But if you'll excuse us...we need to go." Sound added which I am thankful.

"Adele..." Peter stops me as I passed on his side heading to the exit.

I smiled at him bitterly. "I'm happy for you. But I've asked you didn't I? Please...just pretend we didn't know each other. Goodbye Peter."
