Adele was too shocked and hurt. She cried and panicked the whole duration of our travel to the hospital and her eyes were too red and puffy now.

As soon as I parked the car in front of the hospital, she stormed out and run to the reception desk. Peanut is crying too and I was carrying him, he's burying his face on my neck and I can feel the wetness from his tears and I can hear him sniffing.

"Adkins...where's the room of the twins?" That's her nagging.

"Calm down ma'am...the one was in the emergency room but the other one was in room 325 already." As soon as she hear it, she runs to the elevator so I followed her fast.

"Hey babe... calm down--" she cuts me off.

"How am I supposed to calm down Peter? I am such a bad mother!!" She said hysterically.

"Mumma..." Peanut lifts his face and aim it to Adele. She took him in her arms and cry to his small shoulders. "Mumma you're not a bad mum...you are the best don't ever say that. My sissy's gonna be fine...they will, we will celebrate my birthday right? They promise to give me a super hug when we come home." Angelo says to her wiping her tears but she just cried more.

"Oh, peanut..." She said and hug him tight. We reached the third floor of the hospital and as soon as the elevator opens I get peanut from her and she sprints to look for the 25th room.

"Oh, God...please save my daughters..." She's mumbling. We don't actually know what happened to the twins.

We saw Laura coming out from one room and that's where it is.

"Oh...Lau..." She cries more again... Laura hugs her and tried to calm her down.

"Donut...it's alright...come, Casey is inside." She pulled her inside the room... so Mavi is at the emergency room still.

Penny, Ben and Dan was here too.

"Mummy..." Casey calls her. My heart shattered by the sight of her.

"Oh my baby..." She runs to her side but when she tries to touch her, Casey winced in pain. "I'm sorry baby...I'm sorry..." She said. They both cried to each other, none of them saying anything else, I put down peanut and he runs to her mother and sister.

"What happen?" I asked to Ben.

"We don't know actually...the officers went back to the scene as soon as Laura and Dan got here." He said.

My eyes flew to Daniel but he didn't know either. "Casey isn't saying anything yet...but the officers says she might be afraid of something or someone so she isn't saying anything." He said.

"What do you mean?" Is my comprehension right?

Daniel sighs deeply. "The officers think someone cause this incident. The car is in good condition and it slightly hit the tree but the impact won't do such damage on the twins..." He said.

Someone cause the incident...

"Casey...tell mummy please...you were at school right? I received your text and I even replied." I hear Adele talking to her daughter but Casey remains quiet. Her face is dark and I can see some spots of bruises.

On her neck and on her arms. I walk towards them and I slide the cover only to see her legs with large bruises too. I can feel the anger in me.

"Dad...please, cover my feet please." Casey pleaded me... although my heart still warms up whenever Adele's children calls me Daddy, this is heartbreaking.

I covered her feet and just look at her, she avoids any eye contact with anyone except her mum.

"Mum...I love you.." she said to Adele who's still crying. Casey can't move her left foot.
