She's sleeping peacefully beside me. It's 5am and I woke up. She's leaning her head on my chest and I have me arms wrapped around her body.

I miss this, laying beside a woman with no intention to fuck or so whatever, just being contented smelling her natural scent and the sight of her peaceful face warms your heart.

I can't wait for my son to call me daddy... I can't wait for Mavi and Casey to call me daddy too. I wish it's fine with them... I can promise them I will never hurt their mum anymore.

I kissed her head and she moves a little.

"I love you Princess." I just felt the need to tell her that.

"I love how our heart beats as one." She says. So she's awake.

She lifts her face and meet my lips with hers. She kissed me full of love and passion but no lust at all.

She smiled at me as she pulled away, she cups my face and looks intently to me as if she's memorizing every part of it.

Suddenly I felt a liquid falling on my cheeks, she's crying.

"Hey, Why are you crying?" I asked as I wiped her tears away. She smiled and oddly, she's crying but she really looks very happy.

"I'm sorry, it's just that...I love you so much and I didn't know we can be together again like this. I already accepted a year ago that we will not be back to each other's arms...but now we're home." She said emotionally.

"I'm happy too Princess, believe me!" I told her. She laid back to my chest and we hug each other.

"Princess, I want to be honest with you..." I started. But she got something to say too so I let her say it. Mine can wait.

"Peter...my daughters were bullied at school..." She said. I look down at her telling her to go on.

"Some students telling them that the name 'Adkins' don't suit them..." She said sadly.

"Some students telling them that they should be ashamed of my name on theirs because I am a lost star..." She cried. I felt her sorrow.

"Peter... I didn't know my children were experiencing such problems. I've been working hard to be a perfect mum but I didn't even notice it. I didn't even ask how they were at school." She cried more.

"No, I understand you're daughters Adele... believe me if I were on their situation, I will choose not to let you know too." I told her... I can actually see it from Casey and Mavi yesterday at school.

"What do you mean? I am their mother...or maybe they didn't rea--" I cut her off, she's doing self pity. It's not good.

"No, don't ever think they don't love you. Those two were innocent and pure. They rather make it a secret to you than to hurt you and they know you'll be hurt...they love you like that babe... you have no idea what we can do to protect you." I told her.

"But I need them to tell me... I've been working hard for them to give them the best and I didn't know I am not doing it right." She said. I sigh.

"What are you planning to do now?" I asked.

"I've been thinking of making music again." She said, she sat up and look down at me.

"That would be great!" I am genuinely happy.

"Actually, it's finished...it was recorded years ago... but I will redo the recording to catch the emotions again." She said. She looks excited yet anxious.

"Hey, it's alright...may I know who's the inspirations on your next record?" I asked.

"Hmmm...my son, my daughters, my mum, my friends...Alex--" I harshly grab her wrists as I sat up on her bed to face her.

"Alex??" I asked. She laugh...

"Yeah...why? Do we have a problem with that?" She asked at me.

"Why do you still have songs for him?" I asked her, I am on the verge of anger...and frustration.

"Why? I was inspired by him and it's just one song and we're not together when I wrote that." She replied. I brush my hands harshly on my face.

This woman is gonna be the death of me...

"I have one for Alex, lots for my kids...for my friends and my mum too and the rest is...well, about you." She said sweetly.

Yeah...yeah...yeah...for Alex, for her kids, her friends...for Penny and for me...wait...

"Me??" I asked with my eyes widened. She cackle.

"You dumbass..." She said pushing me down on the bed again. "Of course, there's lots about you but I can't promise it's all good...you idiot, you hurt me...expect for a brutally written song for ya." She said before she kissed me and buried her face on my neck.

"I'm sleepy again." She whispered.

"Will you play it for me?" I asked.

"Sure, I'll play the one inspired by Alex." She said, I legit removed her arms from me and was about to stand up but she didn't let me.

"I was just joking! Come on...step your foot outside and I will never let you in!" She said with her eyes closed.

"You're a bitch." I told her.

"I know that...and I will play the songs for you..." She said. "Love you bald." I smile and she's fast asleep.

I tried to sleep again too...she's my life.

Where is she? She's not in the room. I check my phone and it's 3 in the afternoon. Shit! I sleep the long?

I stood up and went outside her room... on the hallway I saw a black door, different from all the rooms upstairs. I stop in front of it and I saw a placard saying... "MUMMY ONLY" I smile. It's her handwriting, mummy only but the key was hang there. I shook my head.

It's safe, her kids probably is at school since it's just Wednesday.

I heard footsteps from the stairs so I thought it's her but to my surprise its Mavi!

She's busy looking at her phone so I pick up the key and open the door to the off limits room, it's an emergency!

But I guess, I am too noisy that Mavi looks up and I swear...she saw me!
