" Mommy! Can I please get a piece of pie!". A purple hedgehog girl was on her tipi toes looking at a sweet potato pie. " Not until your father finally gets home".

A pink hedgehog crouched down to her child's face and poked her nose making the little girl giggle. " When is daddy coming ".

The pink hedgehog frowned and stood back up picking up her child. " Daddy will be here soon sweetheart I promise you".

————————10 hours later—————————

A blue hedgehog rushed inside the house closing the door making it into the kitchen. " I'm so sorry Ames I got caught up at the field and lost track of time"! The pink hedgehog looked up from her daughter with a frown on her face.

" Sonic that was 10hours ago-how can you get caught up for 10 HOURS"! Sonic scratched the back of his head nervously Sweat dropping.

" It doesn't matter now the foods cold and the turkey won't taste the same if you heat it up-I just wanted to spend thanksgiving with my family but instead I got my family minus one"!

" I know Ames I'm sorry I tried to get here on time but I just forgot"! " Just like you forgot my birthday, are dates, your daughters birthday, I can keep going hedgehog".

" Ames I know this looks bad but I promise you I'm really sorry".

The two adults continued fighting while the little purple hedgehog stared at them. She never liked it when her parents argued especially on a day like this.

" Mommy"?

" HOW ARE YOU THE FASTEST THING ALIVE BUT CANT EVEN BE FAST ENOUGH TO ARRIVE ON TIME! YOU'LL BE ON TIME FOR AN EGGMAN BATTLE BUT NOT FOR ME- IS THERE SOMETHING GOING ON BETWEEN YOU AND EGGMAN I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT"!

" Daddy"?

" ARE YOU KIDDING ME I TOLD YOU I WAS SORRY WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME ANOTHER MARRIAGE PROPOSAL"!

The little girl couldn't take it anymore and started crying running towards her room at a very fast speed closing the door with a huge slam that shook the whole house.

" ROSE"!

The two parents ran towards there daughters room and opened the door to see her laying on her bed crying.

Both Amy and Sonic walked towards her bed and sat down on the end of it. " Honey what's wrong"?

The little girl sniffled and looked up at her parents with watery green eyes. " I hate it when you guys fight and it's Thanksgiving does it matter what time daddy got home"?

The mother sighed and looked at her husband " She's right..I'm sorry for overreacting..it shouldn't matter when you got home as long as you're home".

Sonic smiled and held his wife's hands " And I'm sorry for coming home late I'll try and do better I promise".

The little girl wiped her eyes and sat between her parents making them move there hands away. " I love you mommy and daddy ".
