This is during the Olympic Winter Games

" Sonic you have to choose a partner."

" I know!"

" Like five minutes ago."

" I know!"

".....Hurry up and ask her."

" I will!"

".....your still sitting there you blue pineapple."

" Grrr SHUT UP KNUCKLES!"

Sonic was breathing heavily in rage extremely close to punching Knuckles in the face but restraining himself by grinding his teeth together.

You see today's sport event is figure skating, but not just any figure skating but partner figure skating. For Team Sonic the person that was chosen to figure skate was Sonic since he was the only male on the team that was agile and flexible enough.

Of course to do partner figure skating you need an actual partner or it'll just be called figure skating. It's not like Sonic is struggling to find a partner, no it's far from that actually. He's actually struggling to ask the girl to figure skate with him for reasons.

Reason 1: He figured out he had a crush on her ( Which took forever.)

Reason 2: He's scared to embarrass himself when the to close for comfort parts come up

Reason 3: Everyone knows he has a crush on the girl except the girl

" Well you need to hurry up and ask her! Remember this time there letting any guy that's skating pick a girl from any team they want and everyone knows she's the best female figure skater there is so EVERYONE is trying to ask her..Wario is trying right now as we speak."

Sonic looked wide eyed and literally grabbed Knuckles by his shoulders shaking him " What!"

Knuckles sighed in annoyance and used his hand to turn Sonics head in that direction. And it looked like Knuckles wasn't lying at all because there stood Wario and Amy a few feet away talking to each other.

Sonic could only stare for what seemed like hours before he moved away from Knuckles and made his way across the ice " I'll be back!"

Sonic stood behind Amy and glared daggers at Wario making him slightly uncomfortable and back away at a slow pace before running to Peach and Mario.

Amy looked confused and turned around seeing a smiling Sonic. " Hey Ames! I hope I didn't interrupt something over here!"

Amy shook her head and smiled at Sonic " Not really Wario was just going to ask me to be his partner but I was going to decline anyway."

Sonic nodded and scratched his head and started to have a full on conversation with himself in his head ' You got this Sonic this is your chance! Now or never!'

" Upwards!" Sonic stopped scratching his head and started at Amy as she only looked confused. " Up..wards?"

Sonic could only chuckle in embarrassment ' Upwards! You literally had a full on partner proposal ready on your way here and all you could say was upwards!'

" I meant to say was that we should you know get together and um you know skate on ice and have are team go..upwards on the leaderboard..you know."

Amy started at him for what felt like hours to Sonic before she started laughing " A-Are you asking me to be your partner for the figure skating competition?"

Sonic cleared his throat and nodded " Y-Yeah." Amy smiled and moved her face closer to Sonics batting her eyelashes" I'd loved to Sonic...you know what could also go upwards..are relationship..don't you want to know what it feels like to be in a relationship with Amy Rose?"

Sonic gulped as his cheeks turned 50 shades darker " Heh..heh..heeehhh."
