"It's Loki!" Steve shouts, preparing for a fight. Willow reaches out and locks his vibration and the god of mischief finds that he's unable to move. He laughs a little.

"What is this? What powers do you have?" Thor drops down from the sky next to his brother and Steve is taken back by the eyepatch.

"Thor?" He questions.

"Willow, please. My brother and I aren't here to hurt anyone."

"Loki tried to take over the world." Willow argued. "I've read the files. He controlled people's minds. I don't like people who do that."

"Ah, touchy subject." Willow began to clench her hand and several bones snapped in Loki's body, causing him to gasp in pain.

"Willow please! We have bigger problems than my brother at the moment there is a bigger threat!" Willow paused, intrigued and was just about to release her hold on Loki when he promptly disappeared down a swirling black hole that closed as soon as it had appeared.

"Thor, buddy, we talked about this."

"You again." Thor groaned.

"Doctor Strange." Steve said, straightening his posture. This man, nods to Steve and then to Willow.

"How do you know him?" Willow whispered to Steve. But he never got to answer.

"Thor, what did we say about brining Loki back here."

"Look, I don't have time for your tricks wizard. We need to assemble the Avengers, every powerful being we can find on this earth because something is coming." Dr. Strange stiffened.

"No. It can't be time yet. He's not.." He stopped, thought for a moment and then disappeared, only to reappear moments later. "Okay, you're right. He's coming." Strange turned to Willow and Steve.

"You assemble your team and I'll summon everyone else."

"Everyone else?" Willow questioned.

"Yes, this requires more than just the Avengers and I know exactly who to call." With that, he vanished again. The same black hole opened up in the spot he vacated and Loki was spit back out.

"Why does he keep doing that!" Loki demanded, standing up with the help of his brother.

"I think we need an explanation." Steve interrupted.

"Right, Well. It's a long one. We might as well get everyone together first."

A/N:
Hello everyone! Here is a snippet from my Infinity Wars book! I hope you're just as excited as I am! I'm not sure if I'm going to use all of the same characters that are said to be in the actual infinity wars movie or if I'm going to add some of my favorite marvel characters. We'll see how things go!

Let me know if you We've any comments or suggestions about the direction of the story. I already have a pretty clear dies I think of the plot but I love hearing what you all want to see come to life! I will being to publish this story sometime in 2018. Don't expect it to be out in January but maybe May-ish. I'm not exactly sure yet. I haven't finished a lot of my other stories I'm writing so hopefully I get those out of the way first before I work on this.
