"What happened?" Willow asked Steve as he hung up the phone.

"That... That was Banner."

"You can communicate with people in those small devices?" Valkyrie asked, arching an eyebrow in disbelief and confusion. Steve nodded.

"He confirms their story. Loki apparently helped Thor battle their sister, the God of Death." Willow's eyes widen in surprise.

"You two have a sister." Loki would have shrugged if he had the ability to but since he was stuck frozen in place, the only thing he could really move were his facial features.

"Yes and surprisingly, she was a bit worse than I am. I think I need to up my game." Valkyrie rolls her eyes.

"Loki, now is not the time." She said, punching him in the shoulder and since Loki couldn't move, he stuck to making a pained expression and saying,

"Ow." In a deadpan voice. Willow's mood slowly deflated.

"Does that mean everything Loki said is true. Is Thor really..." She stops. Loki frowns and looks toward the ground.

"I'm not sure but our space craft did explode and... Thor was on it when it happened." Steve and Willow try to process this information as Loki continues. "I know this isn't ideal, and frankly, I'd rather Thor was here than I, but we don't have time to discuss any of this further. We need to prepare for an impending attack and I need to make sure my people are somewhere safe." Steve and Willow shared a look.

"Fine, we'll take you, Valkyrie and.. What was your name big guy?" Steve asks, looking towards Korg.

"I'm Korg." he waves, smiling happily and Steve just nods.

"And Korg, grab Banner and then head to Wakanda to see Bucky and the King." Steve finishes.

"What about the Asgardians?" Valkyrie asks.

"I have an idea." Loki says. "Though, it might seem a bit distasteful."

One shrouded disguise later and a muscle bound Thor stood in Loki's place. The magic surrounding him was so real that it almost made Willow cry. The God Of Thunder was dead, so it was eerie seeing him, especially knowing it was really Loki. His plan, trick the locals into thinking he's Thor and get them to accommodate the weary Asgardians. Steve thought it was a pretty crap plan, though he only said that to willow but somehow, it worked. Loki dazzled them with lightning and pulled off a very convincingly, loving nature and before long, the Asgardians were being welcomed into the community and "Thor" left with the ex-Avengers.

"How is he alive!" Gamora shouts as Drax unceremoniously drops the man down onto the table. Even unconscious, beaten and bruised, Thor still looks like a God so it's no wonder that everyone begins to stop and stare.

"He looks so... Rugged." Drax said in amazement.

"I am Groot." Groot said having paused his game for a moment just to look at the strange man lying on their table. Rocket snorted.

"You got that right Groot. He looks like some warrior god in those games you're always playing." Mantis gently placed her hands on his temple as the rest of the guardians started poking at Thor mercilessly, to see if it would wake him up.

"He's in pain." Mantis said in a concerned voice. "Deep, emotional pain. He has lost his home, half of his people... And then his ship blew up with him inside of it."
