With a horrible roar, Thanos grabbed the person closest to him, Rhodes and shoved him through a glowing blue portal. "Rhodes!" Tony screamed. But before he could move to go through the portal himself, it disappeared and Thanos turned on the next person. Clenching his fist, Thanos slammed  the gauntlet into Korg's chest. Purple light seemed to seep out of the Power Stone and into Korg. It outlined his body, filled in all the cracks and then, Korg shattered into a million little pieces.

"No!" Valkyrie screamed, finally righting herself into a standing position. Groot, out of fear and desperation shot out a vine and wrapped it around Thanos' fist as he prepared to beat down on T'Challa. Thanos glanced back,  glared at him and pulled. Groot cried out in surprise as he was pulled towards the Titan. Thanos other fist connected to his chest and Groots arm broke off from his body. Thanos pulled at the vines on his gauntlet, breaking it apart and tossing them down. As he bested down on Groot who was cursing him out as he laid on the ground, though Thanos didn't know that, Bucky rushed forward and punched Thanos in the gut.

"Pitiful!" Thanos shouted as Valkyrie came up behind him and stabbed him in the thigh. Thanos cried out again as Bucky ducked his fists and Thor was able to pull Groot out of the line of fire.

"Where's Rhodes?" Tony demanded, joining Valkyrie and Bucky in attacking Thanos who just laughed and laughed at Tony's question.

"Dead space. You'll never find him." Tony felt numb and cold. Rhodes, his best friend was gone, floating in space and suffocating.

"You'll pay for that." He found himself saying.

"I've heard that line before." Thanos looked out towards Wanda as more of the Avengers assembled around him. Wanda hadn't moved though. She sat, crumpled next to Vision, her eyes never leaving Thanos. He smiled.

"Oh I don't like that." Hope heard Scott say somewhere nearby.

"Wanda move!" Sam shouted but the she remained still as Thanos plowed through all of her friends to get to her, breaking Peters webs, avoiding Clint's arrows, and dodging all of Steve and Gamora's punches.

"Wanda!" Willow shouted but that was the last word anyone got out because using the Reality Stone, Thanos altered their surroundings and made them feel like they had become one with the earth and while Willow was used to that feeling, she had never felt like the earth was trying to swallow her whole before. Thanos stepped through the incapacitated Avengers and slowly walked towards Wanda.

"You're stronger than you appear." Thanos seemingly complimented her.

"People have always underestimated me."

"Well nobody will ever make that mistake again." Wanda's expression didn't change. She didn't blink, and hardly breathed as Thanos stood over her.

"If you're going to kill me, then kill me." Wanda found herself saying. "I've ruined your plan and you've ruined my life." She had lost everything she had ever loved before. Her parents, her brother, her home, the love of her life. The only thing left that he could take was her life.

"If that's what you wish." In horror, everyone was forced to watch as Thanos pulled out a carefully hidden knife and slammed it into Wanda's chest. She made no sound, gave no indication that she was in pain, she simply slumped to the ground and closed her eyes.

The ground shook so violently that the Reality Stone lost its effects on the minds of the Avengers. "Calm down Willow!" Bucky shouted over the noise of the ground cracking and what little buildings were left toppling.

"You're a monster!" Willow shouted over everyone else, her hair flying back wildly around her as harsh vibrations pulsated out around her. "She was defenseless!" Thanos laughed at the angry look on her face. Her eyes had turned ashy gray and large cracks pushed out of the ground towards him but none of this phased him.
