First Love

To that selfish bitch that stole my heart
And then told me she didn't want it.
Correction.
My best friend.

I'm mad at you.
I'm cause I can't look back to single happy moment
And not see your face.
Why did you come to my wedding?
Why did you walk me down the aisle?
Why did you have me nurture and love you help you grow?
If you were just gonna leave me in the soil.
How dare you come into my home. 
And make like my father and leave.

Did you know that you brought to life my very worst nightmare?
That I'd every single thing I could to keep you.
And you can't say I didn't.
And you'd still leave me.

Did you grow tiresome of my pain?
Was I too much or not enough?
Is this what your holy book taught you.
To love without kindness and consideration.
Or to just not love at all.

I don't think God to be that cruel
Do you.
I called you in tears.
I dream of you in fear
And I pray for you in cheer.
