Two days later, on a bright Sunday morning, a car was pulled into Jay Blue's driveway.

Since it was the weekend Michael, Ashton and Calum were over. They raced to the window where I was at and we waited until the door opened revealing Jay Blue. She was guided by Amber into the house, slowly walking as if the ground was glue. Her wrist were still wrapped since the last time we saw her.

"Is she wearing bandages?" Calum asked, I nodded my head not taking my eyes off Jay Blue.

"Do you think we should go over there?" Ashton asked. The three of us tore our eyes from the window and looked at Ashton as if he was crazy.

"What? It seemed like a good idea! Never mind." I smirked as Ashton sat on my bed.

"What if they have a party for her return?" Michael asked, which didn't surprise me. He always wanted to be near the McLean sisters.

"They might, but we have school tomorrow. We'll see her then." The boys nodded and we continued playing around until it was time for them all to leave. We said our goodbyes and I got ready for bed. I looked out the window one last time to the house and saw a figure sitting on the rooftop. I rubbed my eyes to see if I was seeing things. I looked again and the figure sat there. I noticed a window was wide open, and wondered who it could be.

Is it Jay Blue?

I was confused as to why she would be out. She should be resting

I shrugged my shoulders and crawled into bed.

The next day Jay Blue wasn't at school. The boys and I concluded she probably couldn't come because she just got out of the hospital last night. I didn't mention my possible sighting of Jay Blue on the roof of her house. I felt cool I had a secret that she didn't know I knew. Dorky I know.

"Luke, do you think she'll come tomorrow?" I shrugged my shoulders at Ashton's question. It was all we talked about today, and yesterday. All about Jay Blue and if she was coming home and why she did what she did. I guess it was because we all were stunned at the sudden choice to hurt yourself. It was very unheard of to harm yourself, its 1978 why do you need to hurt yourself?

"Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they home schooled her. The mother was completely baffled with what one of her daughters was doing. She might want to keep her home." Michael explained. He was right. I would want to keep my child home to see how they do.

We walked home together after school walking into our neighborhood. The same neighborhood that brought us all together to be friends. We did have this other guy named Harry but after a few months of living here, he moved away. It was okay, he made the group an odd number so someone was always left out when we played games.

"Yeah, but on a different subject, the spring dance is this Friday. Who are we going to ask?" Calum spoke trying to take our minds off of Jay Blue, but she instantly came into my mind anyways.

"I want to ask Amy." Michael bluntly said. We suddenly started laughing.

"What?" I asked holding my stomach. We were bewildered at his notion to ask out Amy, although she was quirky in some ways, she was way out of our league - especially Michael's.

"I might as well. Jay Blue is taken apparently," Michael scoffed. I was instantly pulled into the conversation dropping the laughter.

"Who?" I asked trying to not sound too intrigued, although I was.

"Uh, Louis from geometry." Michael spoke. Louis? Tomlinson? Why the hell would Jay Blue associate with that douche? All Louis was, was a punk who used girls for her sexual needs. It was completely disgusting and I had no respect for him.

"Oh. Louis? Why him?" I stammered.

"A friend of his told everyone Louis was going to Jay's house today after school. It's probably some rumor made up, who knows." I nodded biting my lip from asking any more questions. I tried to be cool about the situation, but I envied Louis if he was going over. I just could not understand why Jay Blue would associate with him. I've never seen them around school together.

Ashton started a conversation with Calum and Michael about some new game that came out. I could honestly care less. All I was thinking about was Jay Blue.
