After about a 2 hour flight I finally arrived at the very small, not very busy, Beacon Hills Airport. A lot has changed in the airport. For instance, all of the screens that show the arrivals and departures, were now flat screen TVs. They even had a couple of restaurants built in a small open area where people would normally sit and wait for flights to arrive, but they moved that area near the large screens and windows, so people could now see what planes had arrived or departed.

I started towards a small area where you are supposed to get your luggage, realizing I was one of only a couple people that actually came here to stay. The rest only were here for a lay over, before flying to another destination. I sighed, because Beacon Hills wasn't all that bad. At least I was able to get my luggage with ease.

Once I grabbed my luggage, I headed for the sliding glass doors that led outside where I could find a taxi. Lucky for me as soon as I walked out a taxi pulled up in front of me. He saw me and smiled. I returned the smile as he rolled down the the window. "Do you need a taxi miss?" He asked with a deep voice. I nodded. "Yes. Please." He nodded and hopped out of the car to help me with my load of luggage. He wore a yellow t-shirt and shorts. He had long blonde hair and baby blue eyes. He was also pretty muscled.

Luckily he drove one of those SUV taxis, so it was easier to load up my luggage in the back. He had me sit in the front seat beside him, and I gave him the address to the motel I was gonna stay at for my senior year of high school.

The car ride was pretty silent except for the normal, 'what brings you here' questions that I mainly avoided, because I didn't want to tell him the real reason I was here. We pulled up to the small motel. I went inside to the concierge to get the key to the room I will be staying in. The sweet woman smiled at me with bright white teeth. Her dark hair was fairly short, and she had beautiful chocolate brown eyes. She handed me my room key and told me if I needed anything to let her know. I returned the smile and nodded as I turned to go back outside to get my stuff from the taxi driver whose name I don't know. He helped carry all my luggage to my motel room.

The motel room wasn't large, but it was big enough for a small kitchen, a small living area with a TV, desk, and a small sofa. Near the kitchen was a door that most likely led to the bedroom and bathroom. The entire motel room had green carpet and the walls were painted a tan color.

We both sat the luggage near the light colored sofa. "Thank you! Um..." I paused hoping he'd introduce himself. He smiled, and reached out his hand for me to shake. I reached out and shook his hand. "I'm Garrett," He said in his deep voice. "I'm Alexis," I said shyly. His smile grew. "Nice to meet you Alexis! I better get going!" He explained. I smiled and nodded. "Ya you too!" I told him as he headed out. "Um see you around?" He asked. I nodded before he could turn and walk away.

I finally finished unpacking at about 7pm, enough time to eat dinner and shower before bed. For dinner I just made a sandwich since I hadn't had time yet to go to the store to get more food. By the time I got out of the shower it was 9 o'clock, so I figured I'd go to bed early before the first day of school tomorrow.

I awoke to warm sunshine on my face. I rolled over to see my alarm clock that hasn't gone off yet. It read 6:45 a.m. I smiled, realizing I wasn't gonna be woken up by my obnoxious alarm clock on my first day of school. I reached over and turned the alarm clock off so it wouldn't go off at its normal time of 7:00 a.m. I then sat up slowly and stretched, kicking off the comforter. I hopped out of bed and walked to the dresser in the corner of the room where I put most of my clothes. I grabbed a pair of grey jeans and a dark blue t-shirt, then headed to the bathroom to get dressed.

I threw a couple of toaster strudels in the toaster. While I waited I walked over to the window in the living room to open the curtains to let a little natural light in. I squinted so my eyes could adjust to the bright light. Once my eyes adjusted I couldn't help but smile. Across the street from my motel was Beacon Hills High School. Matt and Natalie purposely picked this motel because it was so close to the school. It felt so good to be home. The loud beep from the toaster interupted me spacing out.
