 Allie’s POV

I walked to lunch a little worried because Stiles didn’t come to my first period like he said he would, and I haven’t seen him since this morning. I couldn’t even spot him in the cafeteria so I figured he and Scott ditched school or something so I decided to eat lunch outside. As I stepped through the double doors to the courtyard, I immediately saw Jackson and Ryder sitting at a table by themselves. Jackson noticed me and waved me over. I smiled and went to sit beside Jackson. "Hey Allie!" Ryder smiled. I returned his smile. "Hey!"

We talked and got to know each other for a while until my phone buzzed in my pocket. I pulled it out of my pocket to see I got a text from Stiles. Hey I’m really sorry I haven’t been at school today, one of our team mates got hurt pretty bad during practice so Scott and I offered to take him to the hospital. I’m super sorry! Have Malia bring you to my house after school, okay? I love you! A huge smile appeared on my face and Jackson noticed it. "Must of been a good text." He said. I shook my head. "It was just my boyfriend!" I admitted. He chuckled. "Why do I feel like your trying to hide your relationship with this guy?" He asked. I was surprised by his question. "Um I guess its because I kind of am." I admitted, sheepishly. He tilted his head to the side. "From who?" He asked. I shrugged. "My brother." I said. "How come?" he asked, curiously. I smiled a little. "He’s one of those ridiculous overprotective brother’s. Stiles has known him for a while, probably almost as long as I’ve known him so he knows how Derek can be." I explained. He just stared at me strangely. Luckily the bell rang to end lunch. I looked towards all the students walking simultaneously through the large double doors into the school, and I was almost tempted to sprint towards them and hide myself in the crowd. "Allie?" Jackson asked. I jumped, startled by his voice. I turned to face him, he had gentle eyes and a soft smile. "Sorry I acted the way I did, I was trying to see if I remembered your boyfriend Stiles from years past." He explained. I shook my head. "No its ok! I better get to class!" I said. "Ok we will see you later?" Ryder asked. I nodded. "Of course!" I chirped, as I got up and headed to my math class.

Jackson’s POV

Ryder and I entered the old Beacon Hills bank to find Ryder’s older brother Adrian asleep on one of the three mattresses that we sort of threw in here, since this is like a temporary home right now, which really sucks. Ryder went and sat on an empty mattress as I walked over to Adrian’s sleeping body. I went to kick him in the side to wake him up, but he sensed me and grabbed my ankle before it hit his side. "Your such an idiot Jackson!" He growled, then started to grip even tighter on my ankle, slowly cracking the bones. I roared in pain as he crushed my ankle. He finally let go and I fell back on the final empty mattress and I gripped my ankle quickly resetting the bones, which made me cry out in pain. Adrian rolled his eyes. "Man up Whittemore! Have either of you idiots found anything out about the Hale’s?" He asked, annoyed. "We didn’t find anything yet!" I lied, and Adrian knew it. "Don’t lie to me Jackson, you know how easily I can kill you." He said, gripping my neck, I could feel his claws forming. "We found Derek Hale’s sister, she goes to the high school. Her boyfriend even knows who Derek is, and it sounds like her boyfriend could be pretty protective." Ryder spoke up, and I gave him a wide eyed, terrified look because I know Adrian would use her to his advantage. I don’t want anything to happen to Allie, she’s innocent, and she’s human. "Really?" Adrian’s curiosity got the best of him and he let go of my neck. He turned and started walking towards Ryder. I jumped to my feet and gripped his shoulder. "I wont let you hurt her!" I growled. He quickly spun and gripped my neck again, this time slamming me into a cement wall, creating a giant cracking sound. "I won’t hurt her!" he paused. "Not yet." He finished. "Adrian, she’s innocent and she’s human!" I said sternly. "She’s not innocent if she’s a Hale!" He shouted. Ryder stood up. "I don’t think she is!" Adrian turned to face Ryder, not letting go of my neck. "What do you mean?" He asked. Ryder stepped forward. "I mean, I don’t think she’s biologically related to the Hale’s. I saw her working on homework at lunch and she didn’t write Hale as her last name." He explained. Adrian let go of me. He faced Ryder when he spoke. "I want you guys to sabotage her relationship with her boyfriend." He ordered. "Why?" Ryder asked. "Because if they end up breaking up she will hopefully get closer to you guys." Adrian explained. "And what if she doesn’t, then we would’ve just ruined an innocent relationship!" I growled. He turned to face me. "Who cares. You’re going to do it anyways." He growled back. I shook my head. "I refuse to do it!" I said through gritted teeth. He glared at me. "You will do it, because if you don’t I’ll kill you, the girl, your best friend Danny, and your ex-girlfriend Lydia." He threatened. I looked down, my heart rate rising, and I could feel my body wanting to shift, but I continued to try and fight it off. "Or I could just kill everyone you love and care about! Even my brother." He continued. That right there sent me over the edge. I felt my eyes start glowing, my claws and fangs growing to points. I slowly opened my eyes, looking up at him. I growled viciously. He turned to face me, his eyes glowing a bright crimson red, claws and fangs also extended. I lunged for him, he instantly through me across the room into the large vault. I slid across the floor and slammed into the solid stone wall. I quickly got to my feet and sprinted out of the fault, and as I got closer I jumped and flew towards him, prepared to slash my claws across his chest, but he acted first slashing his claws across my thigh, which threw me off course, and I fell to the ground. I got up and lunged for him again, but he once again slammed me into the wall. He roared his alpha roar, which forced me back to human. He let go of me but his roar continued. I fell to the ground, able to see past him, I saw Ryder with his hands over his ears, affected by Adrian’s roar. Ryder looked up, his eyes glowing blue for a moment before they faded back to normal. It angered me to see Ryder as a werewolf, he was just a kid. The roar finally came to an end, and he glared down at me. "You will do as I say!" He demanded. I was too out of breath and weak to argue. He turned and walked out the double doors of the abandoned bank. That night I didn’t even sleep on one of the mattresses, I slept right where Adrian left me. I was slowly shaken awake, seeing Ryder knelt beside me. "You ready for this?" He asked. I refused to answer his question.
