Clancy left Ruby and Olive together while he stepped outside for a breather. His cast was making him feel like he was in a microwave and the cool air was the only solution.

He clumsily flopped down onto the floor, watching the sun steadily go down, vibrant reds and oranges flashing before his eyes, before closing them. Later on, he knew that was one of the stupidest mistakes he had ever made in the history of Clancy Crew...

All of a sudden, a hand closed around his neck and another clamped his mouth while a women with icy blue eyes smiled sweetly at him.

"Why hello, there darling," she cooed. "Extremely sorry for the uncomfortable cast dearie, but it's only temporary. My men will finish off the job of ending your life later," she gushed, syrup practically oozing out of her.

He could smell... RASPBERRY JELLY? off one person's hand. Of course! "How easy it is to fall for the I'm nice because I gave you a donut trap. Hook, line and sinker I believe is the technical term isn't it, sweetheart,'' the Australian simpered.

Clancy tried to stare her out. Don't act intimidated, he thought. She's not wrong. I'm grateful to a guy who gives me a donut, and he shoves me out of a plane. Clancy suddenly felt an inclination to bite the guy's hand, but couldn't quite manage it as he was beginning to feel a little light-headed and faint.

"Tut, tut Jay, that's not how we treat adorable little schoolboys." She smiled, pinching Clancy's cheek hard.

"I'll be sure to tell him off later for pushing you out of the jet, sweetie. But, for now, let go of the kid, Jay, as the real reason we've showed up our dear Clancy doesn't know yet; about our proposition," the Australian chuckled, her expression changing and becoming darker.

"Listen, and listen closely, you idiot. We nearly ran into a lot of trouble because of you losing that damn wolf with that little runty friend of yours. Ruby Redfort. A name I have... become quite familiar with in my line of work.

If you know her, you must also be aware of the Bonjour event, correct?" The Australian spat. Clancy mutely refused to answer. "CORRECT?" she bellowed in his ear.

Terrified of losing his life there and then, he nodded his head vigorously. "Good. That makes this job that much easier. Your little pal wears a watch you must have seen on her pretty little wrist. But not just any watch. OH no. One that you need to pilfer, because that gadget contains certain facts we need to access in order to gain, well... let's just say VIP treatment at the event, to settle an old score if you will," she smirked, winking at him. Clancy by now had not a clue as to what she was rambling about, but even then knew he had to do what she told him.

"Now, onto what happens if the task fails," she hissed with red hot anger in her voice. "You will get personally tortured by yours truly and tell us where the current Spectrum Agency is, and I will wipe out every single sorry agent including you. This operation CANNOT go wrong. Understand? But before that, a little birdie will let your friend know that you betrayed her to LB by blabbing about her telling you about Spectrum so you could snatch her spot as an agent," she whispered menacingly.

Clancy's blood went cold. He was venturing into a very dangerous territory here, and if he wanted to save his skin and everyone else's, he had to succeed. "However, if you do get us what we order you to, then we may be a little more... lenient." Clancy gulped, as she mimed shooting him, and slunk away into the pitch black night with her two henchmen, leaving him alone, paralysed and petrified.
