Chapter 11: Bounty

Hidan: Hey Suko?

Suko: (sips her coffee) Yeah?

Hidan: Wanna go on a mission?

Suko: (shrugs her shoulders) Sure. What's it about?

Hidan: We have to collect a bounty.

Suko: Isn't that Kakuzu's job?

Hidan: Today it's our job.

Suko sighed and finished the last bit of her coffee. She went to her room to change into her battle clothes and added her weapons into their respective places.

Suko went downstairs and found Kakuzu writing some numbers in a cash receipt journal. Kakuzu greeted Suko with a nod and went back to the journal. Hidan came downstairs a few seconds later.

Hidan: Alright Kakuzu, we're off. Anything you'd like to let us know?

Kakuzu closed the journal and puts it aside. Then he searched in his pocket and took out this small orange book written "バウンティ予約'" (Bounty book). He hands the book over to Hidan.

Kakuzu: Don't lose it.

Hidan: Why?

Kakuzu: It's my only copy, I still need to get more. Plus it's the latest edition.

Hidan rolls his eyes. Hidan and Suko leave the hideout and Kakuzu continues calculating numbers in his cash receipts journal. Deidara arrives as soon as they left.

Deidara: Hey Kakuzu, who just left?

Kakuzu: Hidan and Suko.

Deidara: Oh, are they going on a mission?

Kakuzu: Yeah. They're gonna fetch me a bounty.

Deidara: Ah, let me guees, Hidan asked you for money?

Kakuzu: Close, he asked me for beer.

Deidara: So you want your money back, hmm?

Kakuzu: Exactly. Why do you even care anyway? You have a crush on Hidan or something?

Deidara: What? No!

Kakuzu: Calm down lover boy, I was just joking.

Deidara: (scoffs) Hmm.

Hidan and Suko ran to the closest village they could find to see if there will be a bounty. When they arrived, they had disguises on which was a big straw hat and a black cloak. They casually walked around hoping to find someone whose name is in Kakuzu's bounty book.

After some time, they spotted a man entering a flower shop who looked familiar. Hidan checked in the bounty book and identified him as Yufuku of the Hidden Waterfall. He is a rogue ninja that sells forbidden scrolls for a living.

The bounty on Yufuku is that whoever can bring him in, dead or alive, will receive half a million in cash. Yufuku exited the flower shop with a bouquet of roses. He was wearing a fancy black suit with his forehead protecter around his neck; He didn't have much of a disguise on for someone who's a wanted criminal. Hidan and Suko were at on top of a coffee shop across the street and followed him.
