Guys, let me just discuss something about social stratification. Ito yung pinagusapan nina Demi at Sid na under social science para magka-idea kayo at mas maintindihan nyo yung classes. So here it goes:

There are 3 social classes in the Philippines. Upper Class, Middle Class and Lower Class. Yang tatlong yan, nahahati pa ulit sa tatlo.

Upper Class:
Upper upper
Middle upper
Lower upper

Middle Class:
Upper Middle
Middle Middle
Lower Middle

Lower Class:
Upper Lower
Middle Lower
Lower Lower

Now, let me discuss further about the upper and lower parts of the classes (since nawala sa notes ko yung iba cos napunit huhu)

Upper Class
There are two types of upper classes: the Noveau Rich and Traditional
Upper upper- sila yung traditional​. They have huge amount of wealth sila yung simula ninuno pa nila mayaman na. They were born with golden spoon in their mouths.
Lower Upper- sila yung Noveau. That means new money or yung mga yumaman or biglang yaman. Sometimes, they lack in proper social background. Hindi katulad ng traditional na panahon pa ng mga dinosaur, mayaman na.

Middle Class
Upper Middle- sila yung karamihan sa family members ay may white collar jobs or professionals (lawyers, doctors, accountants, banker etc.) Yung income nila ay mas malaki kesa sa sapat na pangangailangan. They can afford​ stuff they want.
Lower Middle- sila yung usually may mga blue collar jobs (jobs that require manual labor such as plumbers, electricians and structural workers)

Lower Class
Upper Lower -sila yung mga sakto lang yung kinikita para sa pang-araw araw na pangangailangan. Examples are farmers, unskilled/skilled workers, underemployed workers, service workers.

I'm not actually that sure about the lower class because my notes are fucked up. May part na napunit di ko alam bakit huhu. Tsaka kung may maling info naman akong nailagay, kindly comment them para maitama ko po. I'm not exactly that knowledgeable about social science so sorry kung may mali.

So to relate that to my characters, ika-classify ko po kung alin sila.

The Montellado's cousins (Demi, Winter, Nia, Devon, Dream, Kier, Kyle, Kylie, etc.) were from lower upper- noveau sila. Yumaman lang sila dahil sa lolo at lola Montellado nila pati na rin sa kanilang parents.

Storm Fortalejo and Kal Verano were both from upper upper. While, the rest (Asher Ruiz, Caspian Hernandez, Hope Tuason, Jareth Lacsamana and Timothy Samaniego) are from the middle upper. They are the mains so I have to make them look like they own everything lol. Gusto ko silang lahat ilagay sa upper upper kaso sobrang layo na non sa possible reality because let's face it: sa totoong buhay, mabibilang mo sa daliri sa dalawang kamay ang mga pamilyang talagang kasali sa upper upper.

Miggy (Athena Miguele Hizon) she was from the lower class at first (since maid ang mother nya) but because of senator, she became lower upper. Her siblings (Tyrone and Farrah) are from upper upper since mommy Soledad is a traditonal rich person.

Ivana Montenegro was from upper middle. She was rich because of their businesses but not as rich as the Montellado's and the boys.

Quinn Zobel was from lower upper. They are new money, just like the Montellado's.

Starr Villaflor was from upper middle but eventually magiging lower class sya. (You will know more about her sa story nila soon 😉)

And about Jareth's girl, she's from upper middle and you will also know about her in their story. Hope to see you there, too!

So ayun. I hope nalinawan kayo about their social rankings lol I know this part was unecessary but I just want to explain to you guys para magka-idea din kayo tsaka para mas malapit yung dating ng story ko sa inyo sa way kung paano ko sya nai-imagine.

Lol sorry ang pangit. Ako lang nagdrawing nyan eh lmao. Yan po yung layout ng first floor ng condo unit ng pitong puto. Sana di kayo maguluhan. Gusto ko lang talaga ma-visualize nyo rin yung nai-imagine kong lugar kung saan nagaganap yung ilan sa mga eksena sa story ko.
