Me and Marine just talked about all of the recent events, attempting to make sense of the situation at hand.

Marine: "So... we're both royalty... and we're siblings..."

Mahale: "That seems to be the case."

Marine: "How did we even end up here? The last thing I remember is sleeping in my bed and then... this."

Mahale: "Whatever happened, I think it has something to do with me. Weird events have been happening to me ever since I woke up in Paradox. Sometimes, I'd just teleport to the past for no reason. I bet the same thing is happening now. This time though, I brought you with me."

Marine started to look worried.

Marine: "So... you can't control it?"

Mahale: "Not yet, no. But this time, it's weird. Usually I only go back to the past when I'm in severe danger, but here, all I did was sleep. I think something happened, something bad."

Marine: "So then, what do we do?"

Mahale: "What do you mean?"

Marine: "Don't we just... stay here? I mean... we can't go back to Paradox can we? Just... what are we supposed to do?"

Mahale: "Our first objective is to try to remember. If we stay here long enough, maybe we can uncover a couple of our memories, and try to live normally. Our second objective is to try to do things that we would do if we had our memories, for instance, the peace treaty today."

Marine: "Oh yeah! Azure mentioned something about that."

Mahale: "All we need to do today is go there and talk. With the information we have, we should be able to maintain a cohesive discussion. Don't let anything slip about Paradox or our missing memories."

Marine: "Okay... I think I understand."

We heard Orchid's voice come from the back door to the small house.

Orchid: "We need to leave. We're way behind schedule. We're already late as it is."

Mahale: "Wait, we're late!?"

Orchid: "I didn't want to say anything. You were deep in conversation. It's rude to interrupt a conversation between royalty."

Marine: "We should go."

Mahale: "No kidding."

After entering the house and saying our farewells to Azure, the three of us hurried out of the house and back to the castle. We made our way to the castle's front gate and saw a carriage with a driver awaiting us.

Orchid: "You will go into the carriage and ride to Primordia, Kingdom of the Oddities. There you will be escorted by the Queen's secretary, and from there, you will speak to Queen Eliza."

Mahale: "Thank you for your help Orchid."

Orchid: "I am only doing what's required of a maid."

Orchid curtsied and returned through the castles front gate, and the carriage started to move.

Marine: "Eliza... that name sounds familiar..."

Mahale: "The book. I was thinking the same thing. Eliza was on the list of names, meaning that she's one of the 16."

The carriage drove for what seemed like an eternity, until we suddenly stopped in the middle of a forest.

Marine: "This forest..."

Mahale: "It looks identical to the one surrounding the mansion. I don't think we have to worry about that right now though. We just stopped for no reason."

Marine: "What... is that..."

Marine's face was pale, he looked terrified as he looked through the window on my side. When I turned to look, all I saw was a ball of blinding light heading straight toward us. I didn't have any time to react.

It hit us.

We died.

I woke up.
