Sol: "WAAAAAKE UUUUUP!!!"
I felt Sol lightly punching me multiple times.
Mahale: "Ugh..."
Sol: "IT'S ALIIIIIIIVE!"
I rubbed my head as I tried to sit up. I was still on the cold wooden floor. I tried to feel my stomach where I was stabbed, but it was covered by bandages.
Sol: "I've been trying to get you up for, like, years now."
Mahale: "I'm sure you have, Sol."
I stood up, legs a little wobbly. Sol just stared at me, and didn't offer to help at all like any other normal person would.
Scarlet: "Ah. I see you're awake now."
Scarlet entered the hallway from the bedrooms, and everyone else, except for Cerulean and Catty, were following her.
Mahale: "What happened to her? What did you do?"
Scarlet: "As you probably could assume, Catty was a robot. I had a cup of water with me at the time, so I lobbed it in her direction when I witnessed her bashing with you. She immediately malfunctioned, and is now inactive."
Mahale: "Where the hell is everyone finding knives in this place?"
Sol: "There's like, 50 different ones in the kitchen."
Mahale: "That... makes sense actually."
Hikari: "Shouldn't someone find Cerulean now?"
Luna: "Um... yes... I'll go."
Luna hurriedly went down the hallway and down the steps to the first floor.
Marine: "HE'S IN THE LIBRARY!"
No response.
Marine: "Do you think she heard me?"
Scarlet: "Well, we certainly all did. I have a headache as is, please refrain from yelling again."
Marine: "Sorry..."
Nine: "We still need to find Apollo too."
Mahale: "Oh, he's in his room."
Everyone stared at me. I then remembered that they hadn't found him yet, and I realized that I drew a LOT of suspicion towards me.
Mahale: "Well, I mean, common sense says he would be in his room, right?"
Scarlet: "It's not a farfetched theory, that's for certain. Perhaps I should make an investigation of all of the rooms. Just to make sure that none of us are hiding anything, of course."
Sol: "Wait... ALL of the rooms?"
Scarlet: "Yes, Sol, ALL of the rooms."
Sol's breaths quickened.
Scarlet: "Why? Is there something you don't want us to see?"
Sol was glancing around the room, as if he was unsure of what to do.
Sol: "Ummm... well... I'm just going to... GO!"
Sol pushed his way through everyone and ran to the bedrooms. We ran after him, and saw him running to the end of the hall. Cyber was standing in between Sol and his bedroom.
Cyber: "Stop."
Cyber grabbed Sol's wrist and yanked it in front of him.
Cyber: "You're not allowed there."
Sol: "LEMME GO! I NEED TO CLEAN MY ROOM!"
Cyber: "No."
Scarlet walked up to the two of them and calmly spoke.
Scarlet: "Sol, is there something in your room that could be considered a weapon?"
Sol: "Well... I mean... no... I don't think so..."
Scarlet: "Then there's no point of struggling. We won't uncover anything, and you won't have to go through this ever again."
Sol: "That's not..."
Sol shook his head.
Sol: "You're the only one going in there, right, Scarlet? You're the only person that will see it?"
Scarlet: "Me and Cyber will both be going in, but that is all."
Sol began to blush.
Sol: "Just... don't... freak out..."
Cyber: "Overreactions are impossible."
Sol: "...What?"
Scarlet: "Ignore him. Now, Sol, go back with everyone else, go to the living room, and stay there until further notice. Understood?"
Sol: "...Ok."
Sol made his way back to us and, together, we went down to the living room like Scarlet asked. Sol sat next to me.
Mahale: "So, what's in your room that's so bad anyway?"
Sol: "It's... don't worry about it..."
Sol looked down, clearly upset.
Mahale: "Hey, did you end up finishing breakfast?"
Sol: "No, but I can."
Sol got up, and walked to the kitchen. He then resumed making breakfast, as everyone stared at him and his cooking skills.
Marine: "How is he that good?"
Nine: "What on earth...?"
Hikari: "I don't even know what I'm looking at. I'm blind."
Zero: "YOU SUCK!"
Sol seemed completely unphased by everything being said, and just continued cooking. After a few minutes, Luna and Cerulean entered through the front door.
Luna: "We're back."
Cerulean: "How about not ignoring me next time?"
Mahale: "Welcome back, Luna."
Marine: "Yeah, hi Luna."
Zero: "I hate all of you."
Nine: "Hello Luna."
Cerulean was visibly annoyed. Well, he would be visibly annoyed if we weren't ignoring him. He might've said something, but it was insignificant, just like he was.
Mahale: "Scarlet and Cyber are searching the rooms."
Luna: "Oh, that's good. It would be bad if people were hiding weapons."
As if on cue, Scarlet walked down the stairs and stared at Sol.
Scarlet: "Sol. A word please. Would you like this to be public or priva-"
Sol: "Private."
Scarlet: "...Very well then. Meet me upstairs."
Sol put down his kitchen equipment and went upstairs with Scarlet.
Mahale: "I wonder what she found... what could someone like Sol be hiding?"
Hikari: "Some people aren't as innocent as you make them out to be."
Maybe Hikari was right. I shouldn't trust people as easily as I do.
I started to zone out again, and tried to answer all of the questions I had. I knew who the killer was, it was Catty. I didn't quite know how she killed them, but I suppose that didn't matter at this point.
I tried to relax a little bit. I finally got a moment of rest from all of this. I finally had answers to a couple of questions, however, there were still questions that I had unanswered. Who is Cherry? What did Scarlet really do to save me from Catty? What is Sol hiding from all of us?
Some answers, I would later find out, I was better off not knowing.
