Five days later, It was yet again sunset, and Akila had her work cut out for. With tonight being the night that the Shakarakh claimed Moon, time was of the essence. She had to try to get to the Shakarakh before it got to the mansion, and then maybe stop it. First things first, though, she needed to see if Sin had a pack. He'd made himself scarce these last few days so the Dragonborn hoped she could find him.

She flew off her balcony in search of the playful demon. It seemed that he found her first. His tongue was lolled out playfully as he sat and waited for her to land, which she quickly did. He threw himself at her like a dog, and she would've been trampled if it weren't for the lighting quick reflexes that came with being part dragon. Akila instead stroked him. "I heard that your kind usually has packs, so tell me Sin, where's yours?"

The Wuldga'at turned and howled, out of the forest slunk about a dozen bodies. They looked much like him except smaller.

"Are you the alfa?" She asked incredulously.

He nodded.

"Can they fight?"

He again nodded.

"And win?"

He quirked his head to the side, it greatly resembled a shrug.

Deciding that it was good enough, Akila instructed them to follow and took to the sky. The Shakarakh was definetly approaching the mansion. She could see the demon below her, it was just breaking the tree-line as it glided to the Moon on a cloud of darkness.

She dived and tackled it, glad to have caught it by surprise. It gave a screech as she landed on it, but quickly wiggled out from underneath her and sent tendrils of darkness out for protection. "It's not that easy." The Shakarakh hissed. "Now step aside and let me get to my prey."

"Never."

"Then stop me." It taunted. "I know you have it in you. It is the aim of the lesson master is trying to teach, and master is rather wise."

"I don't give a damn about 'master', I'm going to kill you tonight."

"So you say." It cooed. "But I sense doubt in your soul. If only he would let me at you."

"Go to hell." Akila raised her chin defiantly.

"I think everyone present is already damned." And with that, the Shakarakh released full force on her, it took her by such surprise that she stumbled and fell. "You're no match for me, and you never will be, and because of that, your precious friend is going to die."

She gasped as tendrils reached for her, but she fought them off desperately with sheer will. If Sin got there soon then maybe she had a chance... maybe.

As if on cue, the helpful demons slunk through the trees and tried desperately to attack the demon, but darkness enveloped them, which couldn't be a good sign.

"You dare insult me," She couldn't see where the voice was coming from, but she could smell it's rancid breath. "With these lowly beings? An army of them couldn't fight me, never mind a mere dozen. You know nothing of how this world works, I don't see why master bothers with you. You will never be enough, neither for me or those humans you call friends, because let's face it, you are a demon with good intentions. In the world of demons, there is no mercy or kindness, and in the world of humans you'll be hunted and killed, and then they'll dance around your corpse. Nobody wants you!"

The tendrils were closing in around Akila. Tears streamed from her eyes in waves, he had struck just the right nerve. She pushed to back halfheartedly, her vision blurry.

"You can't even lift a finger to save your 'friend'. A week you have been given to accomplish this task, the road was paved for you, and you can't even lift a finger." He spat out the last two words. "And do you know who she is going to blame in the afterlife? You. Because you summoned me, you betrayed everyone with just your mere presence. She will scream your name from the heavens until everyone hears, and then we'll see who you run to." He impersonated a lost child for the next two sentences, "Who will take me in next? Who can I leach off of until they're dry? I would be doing everyone a favor if I killed you here and now, it would be what I believe your kind calls mercy."
