The girl who swayed upon the roof
Looked at the ground before her
Was this to be her last day?
The power was all in a single step
One step and she'd be in free-fall
She'd land on the ground
And in one instant
Her pain-filled life would finally end
Was this what she wanted?
Or did some small voice inside her
Calling out with shame
Desire someone to stop her before she fell?
