Chapter Twenty-three

Your P.O.V

"(Y/N)!" I turn to the familiar voice calling me. It was Do-Jung and...

YUKI!!!

My jaw drops as I saw the female linked arms with the class president.
I rose an eyebrow in complete confusion. Do-jung looks at Yuki and smiles.
"We're going out now! How does that sound?" He asked. Yuki bows.
"Hey. I'm sorry I caused you and Jin some trouble." She nervously chuckled. I blink in confusion.
Is she serious about this? She caused a lot of trouble. Gosh Should I give her a second chance or is this another plan of hers in order to get closer to Jin? She looks happy with Do-jung though.

I'll think about it...

"Uhm yeah...OK...it's fine." She clings onto Do-jung's arm and snuggles against it.
"Ah great!" We all stare at each other awkwardly. It was not quiet here in the café, there was a lot of chit chatting coming from adults, college students and teens in junior high. Do-jung snaps all of us back to reality by clearing his throat.
"Oh. Sorry what is it that you guys would like?" I asked.
"Just two cappuccinos." Yuki beams, giving me a closed eyed smile.
I nod. "Got it. Two cappuccinos coming right up!" They went to sit down, leaving me to make their drinks.

Yes, I was still wondering how those two got hooked up. Do-jung is somewhat reserved and Yuki...well she's just Yuki, a clingy chick that craves attention from someone who would feel the same as her.
Sometimes I don't understand people.
Well I do hope they last long, mostly because I don't want Yuki obsessing over Jin again and trying to take him away from me.
I walk to their table and I gently place their cappuccinos in front of them.
"Enjoy!" I say as I walked back behind the counter.
The bell that was next to the door chimes. It was Jihee...she looked as gloomy as usual. I raise an eyebrow as she approaches me.
"Hey Jihee...what up?" I ask her.

"Nothing much. I see your working hard. Anyways I hope you're good. Listen can you hook me up with a job?" I blink. Jihee wants to work? I thought she was more of a girl who doesn't need a job and has her parents provide her in whatever she needed.
"Why though?"
"Why not? I mean I want to work in order to just get some things out of my head."
"You should just talk to someone about your problems instead of just facing them alone. How is a job going to help you? The thoughts you are thinking about will get in the way of your work."
She sighs and rests her head on the counter. "Yeah you're right. I'll come by your apartment when you're done." She walks away without saying anything else.

Well that was a short conversation. I shook my head as I wiped the counter clean with a napkin. Yuki and Do-jung didn't last long in the café either. They told me they had things to take care of such as helping Yuki with her homework. The time passed and my shift was over. I got my stuff and I walked back home.

"I'm home..." I unlocked the door and opened it to see my annoying half brother (whom I've missed so much) with Kim.

"Annyong

"Annyong." he greets me, getting his drink and zipping some of it. I ran to him and I smack his head.
"Aish! You always hit me!" He hisses, rubbing where I hit. "You're so abusive." ╥﹏╥
"Well you haven't showed up in a long time!" I raise my hand to hit him again, he flinched and protected his head with his arms.
"Stop crying you big baby!" I puffed my cheeks out. I stare at the small table that was in front of both Kim and Joo-hyuk to see that there was half of a cake. Which meant the other half had already been devoured.
"Oh. I bought some cake, Kim sure does eat a lot though." He pats her stomach causing her to giggle.
"Gosh. Next time you buy cake just give her a small slice. Kim and cake don't mix that much. She gets stomach aches. And where the blob is Kim Seokjin?"
"uh...yeah. Jin left. He said he had practice." I nod.

"Anyways thanks for taking care of Kim...and the cake."

There was a sudden knock.

I got up and opened the door.

Jihee.

I let her in. Her eyes widened when she saw my elder half brother.
"Why did you kidnap Nam Joo-hyuk?!" She yells. He flinches at her sudden outburst. I pat her back "Oi! Relax...he's uh. My half brother." She  blinks.
"What is up with you and celebrities?" Jihee asks, whispering over at my ear.
I shrugged. Honestly I didn't know what was up with me. Who knows, maybe I could have something to do with Got7 or IU.
The annoying big potato gets up and shakes Jihee's hand causing her to squeal. "Nice to meet you." He smiled.
"Same"

That was cute.
But no ship will be made. He's too old for my bestie.
"I'm gonna go now. I'll be sure to go to your graduation next week."
Time sure does pass by fast doesn't it.
I cried mentally.
"Great...You better be there."

He laughs and waves goodbye at us before walking out the door. I turned to Jihee who sat on the sofa.
"So what's up?" I asked.
"Nothing much...I've just been really depressed lately because of the whole Jimin and Yoongi thing. I'll be alright."
I hummed.
"I'm sorry I haven't talked to you and Minna lately. I hope you guys understand..."
"I understand. But next time when you have problems just talk to us about it." Jihee nods and grabs my hand.
"I'm going to apologize to Yoongi...what I said to him was horrible. Whether he wants to forgive me or not it's up to him." She smiles lightly.

Jihee's P.O.V

I walked out of (Y/N)'s apartment and sighed in relief. Talking to her did actually make me feel better, taking things you've been holding in is relaxing, but there is something I need to do in order to be more peaceful. I need to apologize.
"Aish!!" I hissed and ran a hand through my hair. "I should of thought of what to say!"
Biting my lip, I walked to Bangtan's apartment. I see that the lights were dimly lit from the inside. I knocked the door and there was no response. Second knock and nothing.
I sighed.
I made my way back to the exit of these dorms/apartments, seeing seven figures walking my way.
It was probably them.
It was them.
And Yoongi was there.
Smiling.
Not heartbroken.
Jin who was in front saw me and stopped walking. Hoseok and the others did as well. When Yoongi saw me his warm gummy smile faded from his handsome face.
I bowed lightly.
"Oh Jihee...hi!" Hoseok greeted.
"Hey hobi!" I smiled.
Jimin sends me a sad smile while Jin and Namjoon wave at me.
Taehyung pats Yoongi's back. The rest of bangtan walks away, leaving Yoongi behind.
"Yoongi."
"...Jihee..."
I walk a few steps towards him. I was finally looking at him after a while.
"What do you want?" He asked.
"...I'm sorry for hurting you, yelling at you...for everything." My lip trembled. I looked away from him.
"I was just so angry and I couldn't control myself."
He sighs. "I've always thought you were a bad woman, but that day you were just so cruel to me. I never thought you were just going to come to me and apologize."
I sniffled and I looked at him with teary eyes. "Do you think I'll forgive you this easily, Jihee?"
"I don't expect you to." I whisper,
"I want to end all of this...to move on"

"How you say that?" He whimpers.
I swallow the lump on my throat.
"I can never get over you...I-I hate that I still love you..." He grabs me and pulls me into a warm embrace.
"I'd rather be brokenhearted and see your beautiful face everyday than not to see you at all." He cries in my shoulder.
"So please...don't say things like that. Don't leave my side I know that you dont love-" In a split second I managed to cut him off by placing my lips on his.
"Just shut up Yoongi..." I whispered, wrapping my arms around him.
"I never said I was moving away...I'll move on...but this time...I'll move on with you at my side." Once again his gummy smile appeared on his face.

Without warning he kissed me passionately with his hands cupped on my cheeks. This lasted for a good few seconds before he stopped.
"I love you Jihee."
"Love you too...Suga cookie."
