Chapter 33

Sasuke's POV

It's getting dark and I'm really starting to worry.

What if Tera does something reckless throughout this war and ends up getting killed?

War isn't some random thing... I don't want anything bad happening to her which makes me that much more certain of my feelings, and the fact that she stopped that night hearing my confession proves to me that she does feel something for me.

She stopped because I was worth her time. Maybe it's just me trying to convince myself that not all is lost for me.

Is this what Sakura feels towards me? Is this why she still doesn't accept the fact that I won't be coming back...?

If Tera never came back I would be heartbroken... I don't think my life would be the same ever again. Even with my family and clan around...

Its like Tera is the sunshine in my dark and gloomy world... I need her every day more. I want to see her smile. To see her happy. To see her by my side...

"How much longer until we get there?" I asked as we all kept our speed going north east which is where the war is taking place.

"About one more hour sir."

"How long until the others arrive at our destination?" I asked again.

"Commander Shisui is about 50 minutes away, commander Itachi is 55, commander Fugaku is an hour and 10 minutes, Commander Mahiro is an hour and 5 minutes away." A different ninja answered.

I nodded at him.

Itachi, Shisui, and I will be the first to go to Tera's location while my father and Mahiro go rescue the ninja in need of help elsewhere.

I could care less about the allied shinobi. Most of them chose to be shinobi, but Tera... Tera had no choice. She was forced to become who she is now because of the family she was born in. The position she had to take and the past that she had to live through.

I regret the way we met..., but if it had been any different... Would I be feeling the same way? Would I be together once again with my family? Would I be fighting in this war?

Amaterasu's POV

I sense them... They managed to escape quicker than I had expected.

Now what...? Does it even matter what side I'm on if about half of the Shinobi population of my village is now a part of this mess?

The only reason I can sense them coming is because the broke part of the barier for a couple minutes... Naruto will be able to sense it soon, and when he does I don't really know what will happen.

Sasuke will distract him from winning this war if things don't go as planned.

An hour has passed since Madara appeared... He summoned the statue and soon enough he'll bring it to life.

I'll stop him by then. This statue must NOT come to life.

If it does it'll put Naruto, Sasuke and everyone else I care about in danger.

"I got you!" Yelled Naruto as he finally broken the mask of the man many of these shinobi believed to be Madara.

Naruto returned to Kakashi and another Jonin who looked alot like Lee.

The two Jonin were obviously shocked beyond belief and I saw Kakashi look back at me as if he just remembered something.

I stood on the statue with my lips shut.
