Liam's POV

"Will you marry me?" I ask her. She stares blankly, like she's angry almost. I know this is her thinking face. After five minutes, I go back upstairs and put the ring up. I feel so embarrassed. I sigh and lay on the bed. I am so stupid. I shouldn't have given it to her now. She probably is out there thinking I'm some asshole idiot. I feel incredibly saddened as I go to sleep.

Phoebes POV

No words can come out. No words can form. I'm so excited on the inside but I'm scared and nervous at the same time. I don't even know how much time has past, but I feel so in my own world. I can't say anything. Then, Liam leaves. Oh god I feel so awful. I lay there and think for a little while longer. When I walk upstairs, Liam is in bed asleep. He looks so upset. I go over to his side of the bed and stroke his hair. I kiss his cheek and look on the counter. The ring. I open the box and take the ring out. It is stunning. I look over at Liam and whisper to him, "baby, I know you can't hear me, but I love you. I'm sorry I embarassed you, but I love you with all my heart and I can't wait to marry you." I stick the ring on my finger and lay in bed beside him. I admire the ring as I fall asleep curled to his side.
