"Good morning Mom, Dad, Kuya." I greeted them as I went in the dining area.

Everyone is already having their breakfast since I was the last to wake up. Sa house kasi everyone usually wakes up at 6 or 7 since we have our own things to keep us busy during the day.

"Ang aga mo ata ngayon Bea?" Kuya asked before putting a spoonful of food into his mouth.

"Actually Kuys, I often wake up earlier than this. So technically, I woke up late." I answered as I take my seat and a sandwich from the table.

"That is because you always have training Isabel. But that's not the case today, you don't have training and the term just ended so you should have just slept the day off. Masyado mo na atang pinapagod sarili mo." Mom said, putting some food on my table.

"That won't do Mom. May lakad po kasi ako with Maki today eh. She demanded my time saying that I should make bawi since I wasn't able to hang out with her and our other friends that often kahit off-season."

"Saan kayo pupunta? Do you want me to drive you there princess? Para din you can sleep while nasa byahe."

I smiled at my Daddy's suggestion. He's been like that since forever. Even when I already know how to drive he never fails to ask if I want a ride or if I needed to be fetched. Dati kasi back in high school whenever he is free he takes the time to drive me to school or fetch me from my friend's house if we decided to stay out after school. Pero eversince natuto akong magdrive, I seldom bother him with my non-school related activities. Kaya ko na din naman magdrive for myself and I know na he is already tired with managing the business. But his gesture always makes me feel loved, like I truly am his only princess.

"No need na po Dad. I don't want to get in the way of your meeting po. Besides, wala pa naman din po kaming napapag-usapang place ni Maki."

"You'll never get in my way naman Bea. Know that you, our family, will always be my priority. And I would always be glad to drive you kahit saan pa yan, anytime."

"I know Dad. And I love you for that. And you too Mom."

"How about me Bei? Di mo ako mahal ganun?" asked Kuya, pouting, trying to act cute.

"Of course I love you din Kuya. How can I ever forget my number one fan?" I playfully asked, wagging both my brows.

Number one fan. That line from my brother for that particular interview was so cheesy I actually cringed while he was saying it. And because of its unnatural 'cheesiness' for something that came out of my brother's mouth, I always grab the chance to tease him about it.

"And speaking of number one, the number one from my list of favorite friends already messaged me. So I think I gotta go." I said, reading the message Maki sent with her demand of being fetch from their house at exactly 9, at bawal daw ang Filipino time.

"I thought Jho is the number one from that list?" I looked at my Kuya who's currently munching on his bacon.

"Then you thought wrong fan. Because Jhoana is of another league, one that only she belongs." I drank my milk and grabbed another sandwich to go before making my exit.

Good Morning Beh.

I typed as Maxine opened the door to the passenger seat.

"So much for American time no?"  She just raised her brow at me and tried to be as comfortable as she can be.
