"Good morning." Greeted Jia pagkasakay niya ng bus.

"Morning." I greeted back, albeit drowsily.

I am currently leaning by the window, sitting on the last seat of the bus with Deanna on the other end.

"Ba't parang inaantok ka pa? I though maaga kang natulog?" Jia asked as she sat on the seat in front of me.

I just shrugged, too lazy to answer her then adjust my glasses to hide the eye bags caused by my midnight affairs.

I looked around and found out na si Pauline, Gizelle and Jhoana nalang ang kulang. Jho and Pongs are usually slowpokes, so them being late is a normal thing. But Gizelle being late? Now that is a shocker because she values time so much.

I was getting bored and sleepier than ever when I received a message from the reason why I am lacking energy this morning.

Napangiti ako nang mabasa ko yung message niya sa akin. Yes universe, that is the Jhoana Maraguinot effect in me. Just two words and an emoji is enough para kiligin ako like no other kahit na there's nothing kilig-worthy sa message niya.

Everyone's here na. Where are you?

Wow naman, wala man lang 'Good Morning' Beatriz? Where are your manners?

Wala. Parang feelings mo lang, ubos na. Where are you nga?

Prep pa lang. Tabi tayo ah.

And just like that my smile widens. I don't know how Jho does it, but she knows what words to say to make me feel giddy. Again, she is paving her way into my heart, not that it's needed.

"You know Ate Bei, kung di ko lang alam na you and Ate Jho are going through rough times, I would think na siya ang katext mo." Deanna commented so suddenly, making me blush.

"Why do you say so Deans?" tanong ni Kat.

"Kasi Bea gets giddy and smiles creepily when Jho sends her messages, just like how she looks like right now." Answered Ponggay who I didn't see arrive and currently sitting beside Deanna.

"Because she's whipped!" shouted Ana who is sitting somewhere in the front.

I just rolled my eyes at their comments. If they only knew.

"But Bei, who are you texting with ba?" asked Jaime, followed by the nods of approval from our teammates. Mga chismosa talaga sila when they feel like it.

"Jho." I simply answered, reading the newly sent message.

"Isang malaking ASA Bei!" said Mich.

"Tulog ka pa ba? Maybe nagd-daydream ka or something?" comment naman ni Ana

"Bes, alam naming na stressed ka dahil sa mga nangyayari but drugs is not the answer." Pajoke naman na sabi ni Kim, with actions pa.

"Ni hindi ka nga nun tingnan, text pa kaya?" remarked Jia.

"What if I am telling the truth?" I asked with a brow raised, still exchanging messages with Jhoana.

"Nananaginip ng gising nakatulala sa hangin." Pakantang sabi ni Jules.

"What if nga?" I asked again.

" You know what, if that happens, or kahit if kausapin ka lang ni Jho. Ililibre kita. Whatever you want, wherever you want." That's Maddie, making me smile even wider.
