Ok before we start, I didn't get any votes (not surprising. Most people don't want UriTris) so I just decided to go with Uriah's POV. Oh and this is just after the rankings are up, but everything between Tobias and Tris didn't happen. Now, onto the story. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
I look at the bored and blink slowly, telling myself that I'm not dreaming. This is really happening. I open my eyes again and look at the board. Second. I got second. I'm in Dauntless. That takes a moment to register in my brain, but once it does, I do the only thing that feels right.

I hop up on the table and yell at the top of my lungs, "I'M IN DAUNTLESS!"

Some people cheer at me, but most people didn't hear me because of the screaming, pounding fists, stomping and clapping going on. I have always loved that noise. The noise that in any other faction would be frowned at. But in Dauntless, we don't make a habit of being like the other factions. What they love, we hate. What they hate, we love. Anything unacceptable in the other factions is just day routine in Dauntless. Rules are for pansycakes. We are Dauntless. We are free.

I hop off the table and look back at the board. My eyes slide to the first place slot. Ever since I was little, I always told myself I would get first, no matter what, and I would hate anyone and everyone who ranked above me. But I can't hate her. I can't. She's to perfect. Beautiful. Tris Prior.

Snap out of it Uriah! I think. She probably doesn't even like you.

I shrug off my thoughts and walk over to her. She hugging that Candor. Christy? Crystal? Something like that. I tap her shoulder. She lets go of the girl and faces me. My breath catches and my breathing immediately becomes quicker and my palms get sweaty. Every time she looks at me, every time her eyes are on mine, I am amazed at her beauty.

"Congratulations!" She shouts over the noise.

"You beat them!" I yell back at her.

I know she struggled during initiation. Peter and his band of idiots bothered her, her ranks in the fights weren't the best, one of her friends turned on her then killed himself when she didn't forgive him, and eventually even the Candor girl and Erudite boy turned away from her. I remember that day. That was when I got her to go zip lining. When I first realized that she had totally screwed me over.

She smiles at my comment, and is about to say something when I hear my name being called from the Dauntless born crowd. I lean closer to her, but not too close.

"I'll see ya later!"

"See ya!" She screams back, that 50 thousand kilowatt smile beaming at me.

Uriah, you are screwed over by a stiff. I hate to say this, but you are officially a pansycake.... Not I'm going to repeat that to anyone.
