Is it wise to go there? Is it a smart choice to meet the person that has caused so many problems?

"It's too risky Elliot, they could kill you," Darlene warns with concern and I sigh. "They won't do that, I just want to talk and find out what's their motive," I answer but she still looks uneasy.

"Eli, look you shouldn't go alone-"

"It's too risky, I don't want you to get hurt," I tell Jayden and Darlene scoffs. "Wow, at one point you're saying they won't kill you but now it's too risky," She states and I roll my eyes.

"They could use you or Jayden against me if either of you go as well," I clarify and she crosses her arms.

"Well Mr. Smart Guy, how are you planning to do this?" Darlene asks and I take a deep breath.

"I'll grab their attention, make sure they feel threatened by some sort of program or infestation into the corrupted system they've built," I explain, placing my palms on the table and leaning forward, "That way they'll want to stop me any way possible so that their plans don't get jeopardised."

"But Elliot, they don't have any plans that could be jeopardised. Everything's already in place," Jayden counters and I sigh. I look straight into her eyes, hers are filled with sadness.

"I have to do whatever I can... We need to get this done before the world can't be pulled out if this screw up," I gulp, feeling a wave of fear wash over me, "There's no other way."

5 hours later...

I didn't want it to go on for so long but precision and high efficiency is required to make a file good enough to corrupt their system and get their attention.

I know, you're probably thinking I'm crazy.

Well, everyone is slightly right? I remember watching 'Alice In The Wonderland' with Angela when we were young. There's a dialogue in that, 'Everyone's a little crazy down here'.

Huh... Funny I remember that at such a crucial time.

Enough conversation, I need to get back to preparing myself for the execution.

"Elliot please, think about it for a second," Jayden walks over to me slowly and I look at her blankly. "We've talked enough, I told you that there is no alternative in sight. These are powerful and intelligent people and messing with their program will piss them off," I explain for the hundredth time.

Sorry for my exaggeration but I'm getting frustrated right now.

I don't usually exaggerate, I stick to the real numbers and the real dealings in the world, and right now I need to get a meeting set up with the enemy. That's the real deal.

I continue typing as fast as I have ever done at my laptop keyboard, making sure this mammoth of an idea and attempt balances out with the possible wrongs that could occur. The outcome could harm mine, Darlene's and worst of all Jayden's life.

Darlene and I have dealt with some real shit in the past but Jay... all she's done is gotten away with some life threatening hacking and poking around for the fun of it.
