Sophia's POV
"Sophia, we're home." I hear the door of the foyer turn as my parents enter the house.
"Hey, how was your trip?" I ask.
"It was great, Erindale was a bit cold but the place is gorgeous." My mom replies with a grin on her face. She was a beautiful woman. Even in her 40s she was stunning. Long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. I looked nothing like her. Well except for the distinct features and the super short temper.
"Sweetie, we are having guests over today." Mom says while making her way to the kitchen.
"The royal family of Georgioville will be staying with us during their visit. I think they have a son your age." She continues. "And please Sophia be civil. This is a good chance to expand our ties." I look down knowing the importance of keeping peace in the country."
"Sure mom." I say with a smile, reassuring her of my good behaviour.
I make my way up to my room and scream in aggravation. Why do I have to eat dinner with the stupid jerk face. He is so irritating. I'd rather pull my hair out than spend 2 hours eating dinner with him.
After my intense cursing session and non-princess like behaviour I put on a suitable gown and make my way down to dining hall.
And yes I said hall, calling it a room would be an understatement. The hall had tall ceilings with crystal chandeliers hanging from above. The walls were lined with Italian inspired designs and a long dining table covered with a white silk cloth stood in the middle.
The setting was lavish. Pork roast, sourdough bread, fish en papillote and our kingdom's special cherry pie cheese cake was the highlight of the feast. I was about to reach for a slice of bread when Mom slapped the piece of pastry delicacy from my hand. I looked at her and pouted. "Patience, my dear child." She spoke sternly.
The royal family of Georgioville entered the hall. Damn, those unfair genetics. The king and queen looked so kind and so loving, while Jacob was smirking his ass off at me. My parents bow to them after they bow to us.
"And this must be our future Queen." Linda smiles at me and gives me a gentle hug."
"Nice to meet you." I said politely. Thankfully her perfume smelled amazing.
We seated ourselves in the dining room. And Jacob had to sit right in front of me. He gave me a smirk AGAIN. The parent's indulged themselves into what ever conversation they were having and I tuned them out. Jacob was busy texting someone and I couldn't care less. Maybe it was one of his sluts. The thought fired a bit of jealousy which I quickly pushed away.
"Sweetie is that alright with you?" My mom asks me. "Huh? What?" I ask in confusion.
"We are going to visit the southern part of the kingdom to show the Grimaldi's the vineyard" She began. I did not like the sound of where this conversation was heading.
"During our absence, you will be taking care of the kingdom's duties and Jacob will assist you." She says.
My eyes widen and I'm in shock. No no no. I am about to protest but my parent's give me a look that clearly says, 'This is for your own good.'
I nod in reply and they all go back to their conversation.
"We are going to have so much fun." Jacob whispered with a sly smile on his face.
Mental facepalm.

Yay! Third chapter done! Sadly not alot of Jacob and Sophia moments. Or Jophia? xD And for those of you who are still confused, this story takes place in a land of princes, gowns and princesses with a modern twist. Okay? So cars, bars, parties and players still exist.
