ENJOYYYY!

Sophia's POV:

I don't think there is anything better then slipping into bed after a long, hard day. The complete bliss of slipping out of those uncomfortable shoes and tight clothes and putting on some comfy pjs and letting your worries slip away as you slip into your $5000 mattress and duvet. After a long day at school with all the preparations of the Black and White Masquerade Ball I finally reached home. Well technically Jacob's home since my dear and lovely parents decided to let the devil be my so called guardian for a week. Two more days of living with him and then FREEDOOOOOMM. The thought of that makes me smile.

As I was closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep I heard a scream. And not those blood curdling, horror movie screams. The "I'm screaming of pleasure screams." Scrunching my face up in disgust I covered my ears with my pillows and tried to block off those disturbing sounds. Did that help? Nope! That jackass was too much! Couldn't he have been done with his business before I entered the house or after I fell into a deep sleep? So freaking inconsiderate!

After 20 minutes, the disturbing sounds subsided. But I mean 20 freaking minutes! You has that kind of stamina? But how would I know? As hunger overruled me, I had no choice but to leave the guest room and venture out into the unknown. I hadn't really explored the house since I didn't want to encounter him and I usually returned late due to the Ball's preparations.

I walked downstairs and opened the door to the kitchen. There I saw a gorgeous girl sitting on Jacob's lap giggling and squealing as he kissed her neck. Ew. Quickly shielding my eyes I spoke "Excuse me, but some of us would like to eat without having to throw up after."

The girl looked up and gave me a once over. Typical insecure little bitch. "Who are you?" she asked coldly with her nostrils flaring. Not a pretty look. I was about to reply when Jacob spoke up for me. "She is nobody, Candace. Don't mind her."

Ouch. That hurt. Wait what? I cannot let something he said bother me. Just ignore and walk away. "Whatever." I spoke in annoyance and walked over to the fridge. Just because someone was mean I am not going to sacrifice food and walk a way. I grabbed a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries and quickly left the kitchen since I could feel 2 pairs of eyes following my every move. "Hey!" the girl whose name was Candace called. "Those are mine!"

"Not anymore." I said as I walked out the door.

******

"Hey." A voice called outside my door as the person knocked. The door handle turned and there stood Jacob. "What do you want?" I asked in irritation. "I just wanted to spend time with my favorite roomate." He spoke as he plopped down on my bed. I rolled my eyes at him and continued to draw the outline of the Ballroom for the Masquerade.

"I'm sorry about Candace." Jacob spoke softly. Well this caught me by surprise since he never apologized. "Its just that she is the type of girl who gets easily jealous when she sees pretty girls like you and I don't want her to go out on a rampage to ruin you because she does that a lot."

Did he just call me pretty? And why is my heart fluttering? Heart, stay still.

"It's alright."I reply a bit flustered. "Forget about it."

"I am really sorry you know."

"For what?" I ask.

"For being a terrible host and a jerk."

Woah where did that come from? When did he become so nice?

"Let me make it up to you. How about I cook us some dinner." He said with a smile. "And don't worry I know how to cook and Candace already left."

I contemplated his suggestion and asked "What's the catch?"

"None." he smirked except  you have to help me.

"Fine." I groaned. "But I'm only doing this for food."

******

"Jacob! Stop it! No! Don't you dare!" I screeched.

You see, when Jacob wanted to cook dinner I didn't realize how much of a mess we would have been making. So it all started with his brilliant idea of cooking pasta from scratch. I agreed because I thought that it wouldn't be too hard. But I was wrong. I was casually mixing the flour, water and eggs when suddenly I felt something crack on top of my head and a gooey liquid poured down my hair.

HE CRACKED AN EGG ON TOP OF MY HEAD!

"WHAT THE HELL JACOB"! I screamed at the laughing bastard at my side. Well it must've been a funny sight since my hair was sticky and a yellow liquid was sliping down my face. I calmed my breathing and turned around. I grabbed a handful of flour and tossed it at him. Now it was my turn to laugh.

"You've got flour in your nose!" I said between giggles. I mean it was a funny sight. The flour covered his entire face like a mask and he looked stunned. He quickly gained his composure and grabbed something.

Then SPLAT! I was now tomato faced. I then grabbed the bowl of tomato sauce and oured it down his head and wuickly ran away laughing. I heard footsteps thundering behind me and  a whole bunch of cursing. I turned around to see if he was catching up, which was a mistake since I slipped and lost my balance. Jacob quickly grabbed me and lifted me above his shoulder.

"You will pay for this!" he spoke in a chilling voice as he led me outside. Oh no. Oh shit. He walked towards the pool as I banged my fists on his toned back which would've felt better without it being under his shirt. Focus Sophia. Don't let his hot body distract you.

He stood above the pool and held me above the cold waters. Why did this particular night have to be freezing? I screeched and screamed "Jacob! Stop it! No! Don't you dare!" But I was helpless, he gave me a mischievous grin and jumped.

Yes, he jumped submerging us both in the water. The cold fluid hit me like a shock and I kicked for the surface accidentally hitting something with my elbow. I gasped for air as my head emerged from the waters. I found myself facing Jacob who was covering his right eye cursing in pain.

"Sophia! You should be more careful." Jacob scolded. "Sorry, let me take a look at that." I offered removing his hand from his eye. I leaned in closer to inspect any damaged when I realized that he was staring at me. It was that look. It was a look that a guy gave you when he was about to kiss you. I knew that I should've turned away but I found myself lost in those mesmerizing pool of pure blue goodness. Up close he was even more good looking. His structured jaw line and straight nose, His parents did him good.

He leaned in closer trying to close the tiny gap in between us then suddenly we were interrupted. "What is going on here?" questioned my two best friends holding a pint of ice cream that I had told them to bring. The grin they were trying to hide on their faces were evident and they gave me a look that clearly said "You better explain this alright."

Busted." said Jacob moving away from me exactly voicing my thoughts.
