"I was here waiting for my girlfriend. Problem?"

Baekhyun fell silent and let go of my hand.

Girlfriend? Boi, I like you and all but since when was I your girlfriend?

"Um I appreciate that Kai but you can go home now." I said as I pushed him softly, laughing awkwardly.

"Okay then. See you tomorrow (Y/N)." He said with a smile before walking away, not forgetting to give Baekhyun another glare before he did so.

"*sigh* He's not my boyfriend by the way." I stated as I turned around to face Baekhyun who now had a very relieved look on his face.

"Good." He replied very quickly. "He's not someone you should be hanging around with." He then gave me a serious look and considering this is Baekhyun we're talking about, if he's serious then the situation must be serious.

"What do you mean? Do you know him?" I asked, starting to feel slightly worried.

"Unfortunately... Just... promise me you won't be involved with him. Okay?" He said while looking deep into my eyes with his dark, glossy ones.

"...Okay." I hesitantly agreed.

What does he mean "unfortunately,"? What's so bad about Kai? Well, while I may have known Kai for a longer amount of time, I feel like I actually know Baekhyun more, so despite only knowing him for about a week, I decided I'll take his word for now.

"Thank you." He said with a smile. "What time do you finish college tomorrow?"

"12pm. Why?" I asked.

"I'll pick you up then." He said before walking away. "See you later!"

"Yeah. See you Baekhyun!" I waved until he was no longer in sight, then I entered my home and got myself ready for bed.

I woke up and got ready for college, the usual, except upon entering that's when I remembered about the 'incident' that occurred the night before.

'Oh no. What if Kai tries to approach me? What would he say? What would I say??' I began to worry to myself as I slowly approached my locker only to see him and his friends chilling there.

"Guess I can't access my locker." I sighed to myself before going straight to the library to meet Chanyeol and Rosè.

"I'll have to get them when the bell goes, but I'll be late..."

I walked all over the long way around the school to get to the library without bumping into Kai, meaning I was a little later than usual.

"Hey guys." I said with a melancholy tone as I placed my bag in the table and slumped into the seat opposite the two.

"What's up with you?" Chanyeol asked. "You seem depressed."

"I'm just exhausted." I sighed. "I had to walk here the long way to avoid bumping into Kai and that.

"You need more exercise." Chanyeol noted.
