Chapter 12 - "Tipsy"

Baekhyun's POV
~~~~

"I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world!~" She sang, standing on the stage with a microphone in her hand with everyone watching.

"What the heck?" I mumbled to myself.

"You can brush my hair! Undress me anywhere." She then winked blatantly at me and I felt my face warm up. I began receiving looks by almost everyone and so I rested my hand on my chin and looked in the other direction until the end of the performance.

The song had ended and I heard (Y/N) thank everyone for watching, I turned back around to see literally everyone clapping for her and then I remembered... they're all drunk.

"Did you like my performance?" (Y/N) asked cutely as she approached me.

"That was amazing (Y/N) noona~!" Sehun exclaimed.

"Thanks Sehunnie!" She gave him an adorable grin before turning back towards me, waiting for a reply.

"I'm not gonna lie (Y/N), that was terrible." I sighed as I took a sip of my coke. I turned back to (Y/N) only to see a depressed look in her face and tears at the corner of her eyes, threatening to fall.

"It- it was terrible?" She hiccuped.

"Ah uh no!" I said desperately as I quickly rose from my seat. "I uh, you wasn't terrible! Just the song! Your voice was amazing! Please don't cry!"

"Really?" Her flushed face then formed a smile. "Thank you Baekie-Boo!" She the stood on her toes and gave me a kiss on the cheek, rendering me speechless.

"Ah gwiyeobda!" Chen screamed as he looked at us, causing pretty much everyone to look towards us again and, once again, start cheering.

"Ah okay okay. Calm down Chen." I said.

"I need to pee." (Y/N) suddenly said. "Can you come with me please Baekie?"

"Okay." We then both stood up and began walking towards the stairs. I could see that she was constantly limping and she wobbling and so I held her arm to help her up the stairs.

The bathroom has a step before the door and so I helped her up the step and she shut the door behind herself. A few minutes later the the door opened and (Y/N) limped out, forgetting that there was a step in front of the door, she waddled out and fell over the step.

"Ahh." She screamed.

It all happened so fast that I didn't have enough time to catch her, instead she landed on me, making a band noise, Suho came running upstairs to find out what happened.

"Aww. Thanks Baekie Boo." (Y/N) said with a smile, still lying on top of me as she twirled my hair I'm her fingers, making me blush again.

"Baekhyun ah. I think you should take (Y/N) home." Suho suggested as he witnessed her drink state.

"That might be a good idea." I said as I tried to lift her off of me, only for her to hug me tight. "Um. Can you help me hyung?"

Suho chuckled and helped unwrap her arms from my torso as i lifted her up and held my arms around her shoulders.

"You two make a good couple." Suho said as he let go of (Y/N), seeing that I had her securely in my arms.

"We're not a couple." I clarified for the millionth time.

"Not yet." Suho winked before going back downstairs.

"*sigh* I wish people would stop teasing me." I said to myself before looking at (Y/N) who appeared relaxed leaning on my shoulder.

We both walked down the stairs and before leaving, I said bye to everyone.

"Awh, do you have to leave?" Chen whined like usual.

"Yeah." I replied. "(Y/N) could probably do with an early night." I then looked at her again to see her looking at her shoes, giggling.

I then opened the door and shut it behind us, helping (Y/N) down the steps of Sehun's front yard. I lead her to my car and decided to let her sit at the back as I couldn't trust her drunk state at the front of the car.

I did (Y/N)'s seatbelt and looked at her to see that she was staring at me with the biggest grin I had ever seen.

"What's got you so happy?" I asked as I smiled back.

"You." She simply said.

"What am I doing to make you smile?" I asked again.

"Your very existence makes me smile Baekie Boo!" Her smile grew even wider as she ruffled my hair.

I shut the door and entered the drivers seat before she could see my tomatoed face.

On my way to her house, (Y/N) remained silent until she asked "Can you sleep round mine tonight?"

"Why?"

"I don't want to sleep alone tonight..." she said a bit more seriously.

"Okay."

"Yay!" She exclaimed, having returned to her drunk self.

We made it to (Y/N)'s house and  after getting myself out of the car , I went to the back and helped (Y/N) get out of the car. (Y/N) seemed a little more sober than earlier and was able to walk to the door herself, even if she was really slow.

"It's bed time for you missy." I said as we took off our shoes and hung out coats up, or at least I did, I had to help (Y/N) with her things.

"Okay." She pouted before heading to her bedroom to get dressed. As she did so, I got my phone out from my pocket to see that the group chat from nearly a year ago had exploded. There were too many messages to read out but I can tell you now that every single message was about (Y/N) and I. Even Suho was teasing me.

Bacon: Guys stop it. I've already said, we're not a couple.

Dinosaur: But Suho said you were.

Bacon: He's only teasing.

Baozi: Just cause you don't want to admit it...

"I'm done." (Y/N) said as she opened her door. As I walked into her bedroom she jumped into her bed and snuggled into the covers cutely, making me smile. She then patted the spot on the bed next to her, suggesting I lie there.

"I'm not going to sleep in the same bed as you while you're still drunk." I chuckled. "Besides, I don't actually have any pyjamas to wear." I then looked down at the suit I was wearing.

"I'm not drunk... just... tipsy!" She denied. "Also, you can wear some of my dad's old clothes." She then hopped out of bed and left the room, coming back a minute later with a grey pair of pyjamas in her hands.

"Put these on." She said as she handed them to me before turning the other way to give me privacy.

"Thanks." I said as I got changed. "I'm done,"

"That was quick!" She said as she jumped back into bed. "Now join me." She patted the spot next to her once again and I gave her a displeased look.

"Join me please or I'll never forgive you Byun Baekhyun!" She said seriously, making me sigh in defeat and lie down next to her. She then wriggled closer and snuggled into my chest.

"Good night Baekie Boo~"

"Good night (Y/N)~"
