Luke's POV
I feel like today is the day. The day i show Alisha the demon within me, I have hope that she won't be afraid. Most girls always leave me, I don't want her to, I want someone to stay.
There's something about Alisha that draws me in, I'm scared I'll hurt her. I could me and her happy, together. We could buy a house together, make a family. But I also see myself strangling her and hanging her lifeless body over the freeway bridge.
She leans over her desk slightly, interested in what I have to show her. I take a deep breath in and stand from the squishy bean bag I sat in and walk over to the whiteboard, I pick up a black marker, my favourite colour. And raise my arm to scribble down a word.
"Miss Hamilton, Irwin is having a fit in his cell, we really need your help right away" Pete, our head officer gives Alisha a sympathetic look, Alisha nods and stands up "luke I'm sorry, can this wait until Thursday?" Alisha gives me a small small. I clench my jaw "whatever" I snap rather rudely and walk out of the room and into the break room which is full of patients doing their own thing. I look around the room, I spot Michael on a couch playing with a monopoly piece. I vigorously walk towards him and sit on the couch infront of him, his head snaps up
"We gotta talk" I simply say, Michael smirks "where's the tunnel?" I ask "I can't tell you yet" Michael replies "what if I told you that we could be getting out this week" I cock my eyebrow "how would you know for sure" Michael scoffs. "I have something in mind, you'll see" I stand up "just wait" I smirk as I walk of.
Wednesday.
"Mr Brooks you have a visitor" a nurse informs as she opens my door letting in my brother. "I told ya I'd come today" Jai laughs as he places the toilet seat down and sits on it "you're lucky you did too" I chuckle, Jai playfully puts his hand over his heart. "Anyway what's this favour?" Jai nervously chuckles, I nod my head and lead him out into the cafeteria.
"Why a cafeteria?" Jai asks eyeing all the insane patients around him, "cafeteria is the louder place in the institution, now one could hear us" I simply shrug and sit down at my usual table. "Jai this is Michael, Michael this is Jai" I introduce the two "good to meet ya" Michael stick his hand out over the table, Jai hesitates but shakes his hand on return "you too" Jai quietly speaks and quickly tucks his hands under his legs. "So Jai, if you're willing to do this favour, you're rewards will be great you know" I evilly smirk. Jai gulps "what kind of rewards?" I laugh to myself "lets just say that I could get you your own personal bitch to fuck" Jai grows wide eyed "no no no that's okay it's not necessary". I shrug.
"So here it is, this Friday we need you to pick Michael and I up out back" I instruct, "outback? What? It's all shrubs" Jai frowned in confusion "nilbog highway be there at 12 on the dot, it's deserted so no one will see us" I bob my head "I'll be there" Jai exhales "good boy" I chuckle and pat his head. "I better get going now" Jai awkwardly laughs and rises from his chair, "oh no, we still have things to talk about" I cock my head to the right and my eyes clouding a darker shade "right" Jai agrees and sits back down. "I'll see ya later" Michael simply speaks and walks off giving us some privacy, "since when do you work together with someone?" Jai speaks still watching Michael walk out of the room "oh.. I don't" I cheekily laugh "excuse me?" Jai puts his attention on me
"Oh Jai, there's not going to be a Michael" I grin "you're so cold hearted" I scoff I nod "I know". "Tell me about this date" I give off an interested tone "I have her address if that helps" hands me a piece of paper across the table '3 nomed street' I grin at the writing
"Just perfect" I smile again "what?" Jai frowns, I flip to piece of paper over, the pin showing through the page, I move it forward, in jai's eyesight, he scans the paper and his eyes bulge out of his head "it says demon" Jai whispers "it's fate, I can tell" I lick my lips "maybe it's just coincidence" Jai shrugs, I give him daggers "she's the one, I should know" I spit "how so?" Jai laughs
"Because I've never wanted to love nor kill someone so brutally ever in my life"
