Author's Note: Thanks everyone for supporting Mindless Killer. This is my first time writing a horror genre story so it really means a lot to me when you guys read it. I am thinking about adding pictures to the eight characters but I am still dwelling on it.
Anyway, at the end of the story, I will make sure all of them have a long POV. Start and End structure will look the same. I will write Kendall's POV in this chapter though because I've forgotten about him in the first chapter :( so yeah... Comment Fan Vote!
Kendall's POV:
Finally. I'm back where I belong. Kendall thought. His home still look exactly the same. The interior; red paint, marble floor and the staircase leading up to Kate and his bedroom. The exterior; the garden, the trimmed grasses and a skateboard. The position of everything remained unchanged, and even the smell, the smell of lavender all over the living room.
Kate has taken a very good care of their home, everything is exactly how he remembers it. Just as perfect as it used to be.
Except, Kendall felt hollow.
There is one more thing he needed to do before everything becomes perfect. Revenge. When Kendall have his revenge, everything will be the same, perfect as it should be. But for now, he will have to prepare first and watch his back from those betrayers.
Taking in a long breath, Kendall push his short brown hair back and put all the thoughts back behind his mind. Without hesitating, he shouted "I'm back!" knowing all too well Kate was sleeping when he first stepped into the house.
He heard the loud flipping and rummaging in Kate's bedroom and saw her jumping right out from her room and dived straight into his arms. It felt so good when she tighten her hold on him like he was her favourite lost bear. He had forgotten everything with Kate in his embrace.
He missed her so much.
"Hey Kathy." Kendall said, breathing in slowly, looking into Kate's blue eyes. "I've missed you" Kate's eyes widened in response staring deep into Kendall's hazel green eyes as tears started falling. "I've missed you too..."
He looked at his baby sister's teary face and squeezed her tightly to his chest. Those betrayers are going to pay for this...
~Kendall's POV ended~
15th July 2010 2200 hours
There was a loud knock on Kate's front door. Kendall had been slouching on the couch watching some horror films with her. The chick got her throat slit and blood started gushing out like a waterfall. "Go get the door Ken!" she shouted, totally engrossed in the gory scene. Her eyes were practically glued to the flat screen.
Kendall and Kate's parents died when they were 12. Their parents left the whole inheritance to them and since they do not have any relatives, all of the assets they had were managed by a lawyer until they reached the age of 18. Even though that was the case, Kendall and Kate already handled their finances and estate well enough for them to get all their assets by the age of 16.
It is also one of the reasons why Kendall was able to get away with a 2-year juvenile.
Kate sighed and yelled at her brother again "Kendall! The door?"
Kendall grunted and got out from the couch dragging his feet towards the door. It has been two days since Kendall's back. Everything is perfect, there weren't any "friends" that realized he was back nor were there any bothersome calls from Rachel, Marine or Daniel. At last she felt peaceful. It is the sort of feeling only Kendall could give her.
