Chapter 8: Shh... I Know Your Lil Secret

[A/N] : So I've decided to breathe life into my character by adding celebrity casts to it. So... you guys have any ideas? Because I am kinda stuck at it (suck at it) when it comes to choosing.... What can I say? I am picky and fickle minded haha so lemme know if you guys have any idea ya? thanks:)

1435hours

"Oh god... Oh god..." Kate breathe. The atmosphere seemed to get thicker around them. Or maybe it was Kate's chest tightening. "Give me that!" Daniel shouted snatching away the piece of paper. "It's you! Its definitely you! I know it's you!" he said moving away from Kate towards Rachel.

She was settled on the chair eating rather calmly right after Kate's outburst.

Daniel was huffing, his whole face filled with anger and something more... Something swirling beneath. Something scary...

"It's not me so calm your ass down you big idiot!" Rachel said, slowly finishing up her pizza. "Yeah? So why are you rushing to get the door just now? Why are you running so fast just to get the door and after you got to the door and the pizza, you just left? Because you've got what you wanted! You've got your pizza and you can slip the paper in one of the box and give it to Kate! You are the Killer!" Daniel shouted.

Kate was sitting next to Kendall, she have her head on his shoulder. She is tired of all this drama, exhausted of all this threats and worn out from all this nonsense.

Rachel stood up abruptly, giving Daniel a slap on his right cheek hard. "Look bastard! You are one freaking paranoid idiot! I only wanted to get the pizza because I am HUNGRY. I was famished. Please do not assume whatever you are assuming because its not true and there is no proof or any evidence saying that its me you dickhead!" she screamed, emphasizing on the word hungry.

With that Rachel stormed out of the apartment.

Daniel was left there stunned, the slap still raw on his face. "Kate.... I...." he started but was interrupted by Kendall. "Look Daniel, I think we all had enough today.... Let's just... Maybe you could just...leave now?"

"Yeah okay.... I will text you Kate...Okay?"

Kate just gave a half hearted nod and Daniel left without saying more.

2000hours

"HELP! HELP!" Kate screamed, jolting up awake. She could feel her hands still trembling from the aftermath of the dream. It had seem so real..."Kathy?!" Kendall shouted barging into her room, his face full of concern and fear. "I'm okay brother, just a nightmare... A terrible nightmare..." she muttered wiping away her perspiration.

Kendall went straight to her and hugged her tight. He was crying, Kate could feel his body trembling, it wasn't those very visible one but she could feel it. He was afraid and scared that something might have happened to her...

He was afraid that the killer had got to her...

"Kendall..." Kate sniffled looking into his watery eyes. "Shhh, go and get some more sleep I will stay by your side. Don't worry..." Kendall smiled forcefully.

"But..." Kate started.

"No buts, get back to bed, I will be by your side. Always. Now sleep." Kendall said forcefully. Kate stared at her brother for some time before her eyes slowly gave way to her heavy lids...

18th July 2010

1015hours

"So? What are you trying to say Rachel? That MY little sister killed Ariel? What proof do you have?" Kendall shouted. He was fuming. Rachel could see clearly that no matter what she say or however solid her evidence were Kendall would never believe her. Likewise Daniel.

Well then that left Boris and that airhead... Hopefully they will see the picture as clearly as she does... Since Kate hid the secret from all of them... They will trust her then and all of their weariness about her will be lessen. And hopefully... Hopefully Boris could see her in a different light because of it.

"Watch out Kitty, I am coming for you..." Rachel smirked to herself.

1020hours

Daniel was walking towards Kate's house. He needs to apologise to her. About yesterday's event and maybe comfort her...

Although Kate might look all soft and easy to prey on, Daniel know that she is a very strong person. When Kendall wasn't around, she took care of everything herself. She took care of the house, handled the bills and all sorts of different chores and other things that Daniel can't really named them all out.

Among all that busy schedule and difficult times, she still studied really hard and scored pretty well. That is what Daniel like about her. She is all good and all bad together...

"Look, if it isn't the lover boy... Our Danny boy..."

Daniel clenched his fist.

"What do you want Rachel?"

Rachel smirked, her face turned ugly. Like everytime when Boris turned his back on her and hugging with Marine. And like that time when Daniel broke up with her...

"Well well, its that anyway to talk to your past lover Danny?"

"I'd rather not talk about the past since everything's a mistake. Especially you." Daniel said, he knew this conversation is about to get really ugly and nasty the moment those words flew out of his mouth. So he was prepared.

Rachel face turned into a sneer before returning to normal. Way too normal... In some ways Rachel and Ariel are so alike but Rachel's way smarter than Ariel. Daniel knew that from his past experience with her. Which is why he is cautious of her. Among all people, she is the most cunning and dangerous one. The silent killer.

"Well Daniel," Rachel said, dragging out his name with a ugly smile. "You'd better go to your lover's house now, or you might never see her again..." Daniel looked at Rachel wide eyes. What does she mean by that?

"What do you mean?" he questioned

"Shh Danny boy... I know her lil' secret...."

And with that Rachel walked off laughing wickedly.

[A/N] Hope you've enjoyed reading this chapter as much as I enjoyed writing it! Wattpad have been giving me a lot of problems lately so I might not be up here for quite some time if the situation continues. However, I WILL still finish up this book in three weeks time so do not worry! This chapter do not have a background song so find one that you think its suitable ya?:)
