"This is the training grounds." West said gesturing towards the clearing at the secluded part of the land. After Blake left we've been walking and exploring his land, West and Declan being my tour guides who's keeping me entertained by their comments and reports about the new pack and keeps my mind off of Blake's knowledge about Zachariah.

"They're good at fighting." Declan commented and West snorted. "Most of them are lousy." West said and rolls his eyes.

"I know Blake's pack. He is good with battle strategies, his defences are good but the offense are a bit off." I said. "How'd you know that?" West questioned frowning.
"Five or six years ago I went here to with my father to attend some pack business and Blake and I trained together for a week. I know his moves and I bet he's improved and I'm also assuming he trained his warriors himself and for that, I know they're good fighters." I said looking directly at West who's looking at me in bewilderment.

"So you and Blake know each other?" Declan asked and I rolled my eyes. "Yes. Like I said."

"Well that's awkward." West comments.

"He's still....outraged." I said absentmindedly, sighing my gaze drifted at the open space before me. The sun is about to set creating beautiful hues of fiery oranger almost red to pink and violet.

I remembered how we fought over the phone, how angry he was after I told him I'm coming for his pack. He told me to leave him out of this madness, that he was my friend, that we shared the same loss, that we're both mourning after that night. We both want the same revenge. He told me this isn't the way. But he had no idea what's happening. After I told him that he can't stop me, that he can't stop what's coming. He ended everything with me. He ended our alliance, our friendship.

Now here we are.

And he's about to let me take over.

Silence soon followed us as we walk in the clearing. Few people are doing sparring, some jog around to improve their stamina others focused on toning their muscles. And most of them are on intense sparring with my warriors. You can see the hatred on their eyes as they glare on each other, vicious growls echoing around us. And we watch attack after attack.

"We've known each other that's why there's no bad blood bath happened when we invaded his lands. I warned him. He was livid at me a first but he doesn't have a choice, I have made my decision and he must obey, he's no match against me. And I think I ruined what could be a friendship." I shook my head as a bitter smile

Blake's pack members started retreating to their homes as night approach. Either acknowledging our presence or ignoring us as they walk.

"What happened?" Declan asked voice think from the emotions he's been trying to hide for so long finally getting out and I know what he meant.

"I know you both are questioning my actions starting from the time a invaded your packs but I promise you I'll explain everything when the time is right. Everyone will have a closure as to why all of this is happening. I won't judge you if you hate me deep inside but believe me or not I never intend to hurt or kill those who did. I need to make sacrifices in order to achieve what he thinks is right. I'm sorry." I confessed and watch as Declan face     contorted in anger. "What you think is right?" He growled at me and I saw his eyes narrowed in slits, his emotions hanging thick and heavy in the air. "You don't understand. None of you do." I said looking at him with a blank face but my aura tells a different thing. I  dare him to challenge me my blood humming dangerously hot and the beast inside me snarled at the man before me. She knew him and she understands his pain but she doesn't tolerate people disrespecting her. Declan sensed this and storm away his atmosphere is angry but mostly sad. I ignored the fact that he just disrespected me but the beast inside me didn't.

She snarled me at me, clawed her way out for control, she wants me to punish him but I fought her, hard. My vision blurred, breathing ragged and I deadly animalistic growl tore its way out of me. Furs started to come out of my skin and my claws elongated, she was winning.

'Fight her.' The soft feminine voice whispered inside my head. But I can't. She is too strong for me. Her dominance fight against mine I growl at the beast, she growl back. 'FIGHT HER!' That was a command, the voice still soft but the power behind it is strong, stronger than mine.
I don't know if I won the battle or she retreated because I regained the full control again.

"You're eyes." West said bowing. I hadn't realized they changed until he mentioned it. "What?" I asked voice still have a slight venom in it which made him flinch and bare his neck to me showing full submission. "It's still red." He muttered faintly, head still bowed. "Oh." Was all I said before blinking and my eyes returned to its normal color.

"I've returned West." I coughed awkwardly. "Oh God, that was fucking Scary." He breathed eyes wide with fear as he look at me. I smiled at him and he visibly shuddered seeing me lose control of myself. "You're so scary. I don't want to ever piss you off."

"No, you don't want to."

"I really thought you're gonna go after him and tear him to pieces." West cringed at the idea.

"Never gonna happen West." I replied.

"Sorry." He said and I nod. "Declan didn't mean it." He added when I haven't said anything. "Yeah." I replied, my mind drifting to Declan and his whole family who died at the attack. I know he blames me but I trust him not to do anything stupid against me. "He will calm down. A touchy subject on his part." West explained his eyes trained on the direction where Declan disappeared. "I know West. I know." I sighed heavily nodding at him to go after his friends. He smiled at me and gave me a faint bow before he jogged to find his friend.

I sighed running a hand through my hair before walking on the opposite direction.

I walk aimlessly my thoughts jumbled inside my head that I didn't even noticed someone approaching me.

"Blake?" I asked a little startled pausing mid step to look at him. His face remained blank as he stared ahead barely acknowledging what I just said.

Blake and I walk together silently, both consumed on our on thoughts and we both felt the severed bond between us is slowly mending.

"Do you remember?" He asked halting in his steps to look at me.

Yes, I remember. In this very same spot where we used to train together. We fight 'till sunset, no water breaks. Both of our egos won't allow us to stop if there aren't any winner. The bruises, cuts, wounds, even broken bones are the result of our little fights. I also remember that every time I get past his defences, it was hard, he's a skilled fighter, a strong male and an Alpha but I'm smart and would confuse him with my moves I would fake my moves and he would take it then I'll attack and beat him. He would accuse me of cheating and I'll just laugh at him. Sometimes he would beat me, sometimes it was draw.

But this time I have won.

This little fight between us is finally over.

How did I know that?

Easy.

He sliced his palm with a dagger I haven't noticed before and offered me to take it while showing his neck in submission.

A faint pained smile ghosting his lips.
