Sidney Martin is a fictional character, a figure of my imagination. I based him off of and picture him as Sidney Crosby, captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins: Names changed to avoid paradoxical confusion.

Evgenia "Gena" Krasota (portrayed by Ashley Benson, Hanna Marin on Pretty Little Liars) is a twenty-four year old Russian girl who lives in an overrated apartment in the suburban heart of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her lifelong best friend, Sidney Martin (portrayed by Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby), has guided her through just about everything that's happened to her in her life, including the tragedy of losing her mother to cancer at the tender age of nineteen. When Sidney confesses his love for Gena, she is more intrigued than surprised. But Gena and Sidney's relationship does not come without hindrance, for it is not a fairy tale- they get the whole package. Medical horror, personal conflicts and good old-fashioned distance threaten to sever their bond. Will they make it through this, while they still have the chance?
