Chapter 10

Tris's POV

Tobias walks in the room. I hunch over in pain. I can tell he is worried so I look at him with pain in my eyes.

"It's time! I need you to take me to the hospital... NOW!" I felt even worse now, this is a pain like no other..

He picks me up and runs to the car. I am set down in the passenger seat as he buckles me in.

The car is going fast and he is taking no time off. We pass stop signs really fast almost crashing.

"Slow down, plz... Your scaring me!" I yell at him. He quickly slows down so I can finally breathe again. The hospital is a block away.

When we reach the hospital he gets out of the car, grabs me, and runs to the door. It is funny how protective he is.

"I need help! She is going into labor!" A nurse puts me in a wheelchair as Tobias stays behind to fill in information and sign papers.

"Just breathe in and out." I already know this! But I follow her instructions anyway.

I breathe in and out while we race through the hallways.  We get to the room and I am placed on the bed. I change into the night gown and relax.

The baby is a girl! They let Tobias in and he slowly walks over.

"You scared the crap out of me this morning!  I didn't expect this! Oh my god Tris!"

I start too laugh as the doctor walks over.

"So... Tobias, Tris, what are you going to name your baby?" The doctor asks.

We stare at eachother and say at the same time...

"Christina!" The doctor nods his head and walks away.

We laugh and look at her. So this is what the family life is like... I love it!

Tobias looks at me and smiles. I giggle a little.

"What?"

He laughs and keeps staring at me and Christina. Christina looks a lot like us.

"You are beautiful even after everything you just went through."

I blush as he kisses my cheek. Then Uriah and Zeke run in.

"Do you ever knock!?" Tobias says.

"Nope! Awww!  What's the name? "

"Christina." I say before Tobias can answer.

He glares at me while I laugh. He grabs Christina and walks over to Zeke. Zeke carefully holds Christina.

"CAN I HOLD HER!?!?" Uriah yells loudly.

I tell him to be quiet and then he can. He nods and waits. Zeke hands Christina to Uriah.
