Chapter 19

Sarah's POV

"Zack… Zack… Zack!" I was on the phone with Zack, as you could tell. He was freaking out a bit

because he knew Kate and Brian were out on a date right now and he was worried about things getting too serious or if Brian would hurt her again.

"Sorry…" That was the third time I had to stop him from rambling.

"I don't think Kate will be too attached to him after one night." I hope.

"I guess you're right…"

"Don't make me come over and kick your little left handed ass."

"I didn't know my ass had hands." Smartass.

"Look-" I stopped when I heard car doors and saw the lights of a car go off. "Zack they're back."

"Great…"

"I'll call you tomorrow and let you know how things went, okay?"

"Okay…" We were both silent. "Thanks Sarah."

"Not a problem. Gotta go."

"Bye." I hung up just before I heard Kate rattle her key in the door.

I threw my phone on the table next to the couch and pretended to be watching TV when she opened

the door. She and Brian were smiling and laughing about something when they walked in. "Hey Sar Bear."

I smiled, "Hey Kitty. How was the date?" She and Brian came and sat on the couch; Kate was sitting

in between me and Brian.

"Good." She smiled and Brian laid his head on her shoulder.

"We saw Nightmare on Elm Street." Brian finally spoke up and said something. I looked over at the

TV, "Did you guys actually see it?"

I could hear the smile in his voice when he answered. "Not really." I looked over in time to see Kate

hit him, he just laughed and squeezed her hand. Zack might have more trouble getting to her than I thought.

"So did the movie just end?"

"No." Kate looked over at me and rested her head on Brian's. "We went down to the pier after it

ended, then we came home."

"You came home, I went to my date's house." She sat up and hit him again. He let go over her hand

and grabbed her before squinting. "Quit hitting me."

"But it's fun." She smiled and he just continued to glare at her. She gave him a puppy dog look before

resting her head on his shoulder. "Fine." He smiled and kissed the top of her head before letting go.

"Sooo…." Kate looked over at me, Brian just laid his head on her shoulder again and grabbed her

hand. I turned in my spot on the couch and grabbed my phone. I didn't want to cause an awkwardness with the two of them even if I wasn't too keen on the idea of them being together.

I typed in what I wanted to say and handed my phone to her.

How far did you guys go?

She read the message and typed in her answer after blushing. I know it's really none of my business,

but I need to know to make things easier for Zack, and to ease my thoughts. She handed me my phone back.

We made out, we didn't hit 1st don't worry. Oh, & he found my soft spot, it was kinda awkward tho
