DAY OF THE DANCE (eight days later)

Zack's POV

"Zack. Zack. Zack!" I groaned and rolled over, ignoring Matt. "Man get up! Kate text you

20 minutes ago!" I rolled back over and rubbed one eye while I grabbed my phone from him.

Hey Zachary ;) I don't suppose you have a shiny red bow tie this color do you? If you do

can you bring it over for me to borrow Pleeeease. Thank you :)

There was a picture attached of a piece of shiny red fabric. I smiled before replying.

Yeah, I have one. I'll stop by my house and grab it after I get a shower.

I got up and grabbed some clothes for the day.

I laughed and shook my head.

It's not a problem Kate

I stripped down and got in the shower and my phone rang again, telling me Kate sent me

another text. I poked my head out of the shower and grabbed my phone, she sent me a smiley face. I punched in a smiley face and finished my shower.

Once I was dressed and walking back into Matt's room I got another text.

Were you texting me while you were in the shower again -_-

I got red and replied, she always messes with me about that.

Umm….

Ewww, Zacky, I wish you'd quit doing that lol

I laughed and got my shoes on. "And where are you going?" Matt walked back into his

room towel drying his hair really quickly, he took a shower in his parents bathroom while I was in the one on the second floor.

"Kate wants to borrow one of my bow ties." I grabbed my bag and headed for his bedroom

door. "See ya man."

"Hi Zacky." Kate smiled as she stepped aside for me to come in.

"I brought the bow tie." She smiled but then made a face. "You don't know how to tie a-"

"Nope." She smiled while I shook my head.

"Come on, I'll show you how." I grabbed her hand and dragged her back to her room. Sarah

was sitting on Kate's bed, in the middle of coloring her red hair it looked like.

"Sarah is dying the underneath of her hair black." Kate smiled before closing her door.

"Red and black, nice." I stood in front of the mirror and waited for Kate. She stepped in

front of me and lifted her hair. I wrapped the tie around her neck and made sure to tie it slowly so she could watch. When I finished she smiled. "Your turn." I pulled on the bow and untied it, she frowned.

"Way to ruin a perfectly good bow." I smirked while she turned around.

"It's gonna be-" She cut me off with a shush and started to slowly tie the tie.

"Like that?" I looked in the mirror and smiled. "Yeah-"

"No, I think she did something wrong Zack. Show her how to do it again." I turned around
