Minhyuk frowned, staring into the wall in front of him. After actually finishing his homework for once, it was time for him to try out Hyungwon's plan. The empty notebook laid there in front if him and he was nervously chewing on the top of the pink pencil, still nothing got written.

This was really hard for him since writing was the last thing he was good at and now being forced to write diary...that was really one of a task. The nerve wreck grabbed the pencil by a steady hand and started writing. He had to do this. After starting, it wasn't as hard as Minhyuk thought it would've been. That was, until the part with the flowers came in. How could he measure how much he thought of Kihyun like that?

"Tuesday, 3rd June. Today was pretty okay. I'm doing better in school nowadays and am trying harder. I think it's because Kihyun and I haven't hanged out lately. It makes me sad. Really sad. It does give me a lot time for focusing on myself but I really miss him. I don't think that's something I'd admit though. During lunch, I sat together with him, Wonho and Shownu but there's always this kind of feeling of being left out. To be the one who mattered the least.

Minhyuk sighed, reading through his notes. He really did suck at writing but the hard part was: How many flowers to draw? After a long time of thinking, he decided to draw 3 flowers. He wasn't sure why but it wasn't too much in his opinion and not less than usual either. Good.

Satisfied with his first diary entry, Minhyuk put away the book in relief, hiding it in a drawer. No one must know or else he'd be in big trouble probably. Nothing else was done that day besides him laying on his bed, thinking and God knows what revolved in this one's head.

"Wednesday, 4th June. Hi diary. Today was horrible. Wonho won't stop poking my spine in class and I don't think I can take it anymore. Luckily, Kihyun did scold him for once. Feels good to not be the wrong one for once. Netherless, our math teacher got really mad at me. I kept asking dumb questions. I guess that's not my fault though. I just don't understand! I need to get help with math. Kihyun is really good at math but I don't want to ask him. He's probably with Wonho anyway. That's good, I don't want to get further...attached. You know, like THAT.

A big, pink dot made by a highlighter pen was drawn on the small square of the huge calendar haging on the wall, saying "11" in the month of August. Kihyun pointed at the square and locked eyes with Minhyuk who sat on the floor in front of him, listening with woke ears.

"This is the date of the art contest. Please note that." He informed with his "teacher voice" as his friends including Minhyuk would call it. Kihyun used it whenever he was serious which was, 1: During presentations, 2: Meetings and 3: Studying so this was obviously very important to him.

Nodding, signing that he listened, Minhyuk stretched his arm in the air. "May I have the word?" He asked as if in class.

"Yes?"

"How much do we have left to do? On the comic?" Minhyuk further asked, chewing on his pink pencil that he had brought with him, visiting Kihyun.

His friend thought for a second and went to his desk to bring his camera which turnt on with the push of a button.
"I guess we'll see." He mumbled, sitting down next to Minhyuk without bothering to bringing a stool or anything.

Minhyuk excitedly waited for the display to lit up and watched with impressed eyes how Kihyun pressed button after button to flip between one menu to the other in order to find the right photos.

"Oh! Here-" He gasped, showing Minhyuk the first photo of one of his serie of countless drawings so far. The pictures flashed by in a rapid speed as Kihyun pressed his thumb against the skip button and some kind of movement could actually be seen in the frame of the camera display.

The story seemed pretty simple and maybe it wasn't even a story but Minhyuk was very fascinated by how his drawings had "come to life" when combined with Kihyun's photography skills. The two of them watched with glittering eyes how the painted plant grew in a slow movement and grew out legs and arms too. It all ended with the plant smiling brightly. The "movie" was only about 15 seconds long but both of them really felt proud of their work because it was definietly not half-assed. No, everything transitioned so smoothly and looked relatively professional. At least to them.

"I feel like Walt Disney!" Minhyuk cheerily joked, smiling sincerely for the first time in quite some days now.

Kihyun raised his hand to aim for a high five which immediately got returned, making him crack up in a wide grin. "This is awesome, I love you, bro!" He laughed, pulling Minhyuk into a tight hug on the middle of the floor.

Minhyuk felt his heart skipping one, maybe 2 beats and he didn't know what to say for a second. He quickly brushed it off and rested his chin on Kihyun's shoulder. Good thing the red colour of his cheeks could not be seen from there. "I...love you too- bro." He answered and pulled away from the hug. "I need to go to the restroom!" He yelled, already halfway into the hallway with notebook and pencil in his arms.

There in the restroom, Minhyuk happily opened his notebook, flipped to a new page as the previous one was completely covered and started writing.

"Friday, 6th June. I'm very happy. Maybe it's the incredible result of Kihyun and mine's comic or maybe it's Kihyun himself. We hanged out all day after finishing school. God, I wished it could last forever because it's wonderful. Today was good.
