Bet (Jimin)

Based on a manga I read a long time ago but forgot the title.

Y/N's POV

I waited for Jimin on the rooftop hoping he'd come, I texted him earlier to meet me up here. Jimin and I have known each other for a while and for that little while, I've developed feelings for him. I sighed just thinking about it. He was known as a player and I knew that, every week he'd be with a different girl. I thought for a while, should I tell him? Would he stop hopping to different girls? My thoughts were then broken when I heard the rooftop door open, there stood a smiling Jimin.

"Hey! Y/n!" He said excitedly running towards me, "Sorry I'm late, the girls wouldn't let me pass" he said laughing. "So why'd you want me to meet you up here, sounded serious" he asked curiously. "I uhh.." I started not knowing how to begin. He just looked at me like a curious puppy.

"Jimin I like you!" blurting it out and looking down on the ground, I closed my eyes waiting for the rejection. But it was silent, curiously I looked up and Jimin stood wide eyed, mouth gaped open which soon turned into a smirk. "heh so when you told me you had someone special, that person was me?" he said walking closer to me with a teasingly smirk plastered on his face, each step he took forwards I took backwards, I felt the wall behind me and was then caged in between his arms. "Well?" he asked still with a smirk. I just nodded looking down. Chuckle

"I'll go out with you Y/n" he said backing up from me, making me look up at him. "What?" I asked, did I hear wrong? "I'll go out with you if....you win the bet" he said with a smirk. "What bet?" curiously. "Y/n, I don't just go out with any girl, yes I've been with a few but that if only they win a bet"
"What bet?" I asked hesitantly. His smirk got wider. "A kiss" he said, making me choke on air, "What?!"
"If you can kiss me by the end of the day, ill go out with you" walking towards me caging me once more, I've never even kissed anyone before. I thought for a while. "O...k" I whispered.
"Hmm what was that?" "I said ok" finally looking up at him, he smiled before backing off. "Then it's a deal, you have until 3:30 pm to kiss me" he said before walking off, I watched him walk off, sliding down on the wall, what have I gotten myself into? I asked myself before getting up quickly, I can do it, it's just a kiss.

Jimin's POV

Hearing Y/n's confession made me happy, honestly I've liked her for a while but when I heard she had someone she liked, I used other girls to forget, now that I know it was me the whole time, I don't need any other girls. I wanted to say Yes as soon as she confessed but seeing how shy and nervous she was confessing made her so adorable I couldn't resist but to tease her. I lied about the whole bet thing, no way I'd kiss any of those girls. A part of me was happy thinking I could finally kiss the girl I've been wanting, the girl I've been dreaming about, but a part of me was worried, what if she doesn't?

Y/N's POV

I sighed in class thinking about the bet, I can't do it. The bell rang and it was lunch, I decided to eat on the rooftop as no one ever goes there, "Y/n!" I heard someone yell, it was Jimin running up towards me with several girls chasing after him, before I could fully do anything he lifted me over his shoulders running towards the stairs. "Jimin what are you doing! Put me down!" I yelled banging on his back only earning me a chuckle. We arrived on the rooftop loosing the girls. "Jimin never do that again!" I said stopping my feet. He laughed patting my head making me blush. We ate lunch, there was still 30 minutes left before the bell. Jimin yawned moving closer to me.

"Y/n lend me your leg" he said laying his head on my thigh looking up at me, I blushed at the sudden contact looking away from him, he grabbed my chin making me look down at him, "You can kiss me now , Or are you afraid?!" he said teasingly, I blushed wiping his hand away. "I'm not scared" I said covering my face. He laughed before yawning, his eyes slowly closing. He was asleep. Now's my chance I thought, I slowly brought my face closer to his our lips almost touching. No...I couldn't do it. I stopped just before our lips touched, I sat up straight caressing his hair. I didn't want to be in a relationship because of a bet, sighing, finally giving up. I watched him sleep, playing with his hair, this is fine I thought, what we have now is fine.

Jimin's POV

I wasn't asleep, I only pretended giving her a chance to kiss because I knew she wouldn't be able to do it naturally. I laid on her lap with my eyes close after a while I felt her face coming closer. This is it I thought before she stopped making me disappointed. She played with my hair, slowly brushing and caressing it making me doze off. "Jimin" she called out waking me up. "The bell rang, we should head to class" she said avoiding my eyes, I stood up helping her up too. "We should go" was all she said before walking off.

Y/N's POV

I walked off without looking at him. It was soon the end of the day. 3:30 pm the bell rang. That's it then it thought grabbing my stuff and stuffing in in my bag. I waited for everyone to leave the class like I usually do, the last student had left indicating it was time for me to leave too. I walked up at the door only to be pushed back in by non other than Jimin. He looked angry and upset? "Why didn't you kiss me?" was the first thing he said, his voice harsher than usual making me shiver. "I.. couldn't do it" I said looking away, "Why? I thought you liked me" he asked his voice calmer this time. "I do Jimin" looking at him. "So why didn't you? I even gave you a chance on the roof" he said "Y-ou were awake?" I asked flustered. He just nodded.

He walked closer to me grabbing my hands, his eyes asking for answers. Sigh. "I like you Jimin, but I realized I didn't want you to say yes just because of the bet" retracting my hands away from his grabbing my bag attempting to walk out. I felt him grab my arm turning me around crashing our lips together, I stood there wide eyed but soon closed my eyes following him. He soon broke the kiss. "I like you Y/n" he said making me look up at him. "W-what?" confused. "I've liked you for a while now Y/n" he said his eyes getting teary. I was speechless, it took a while for me to process what was happening. Jimin likes me? I asked myself but soon my thoughts were then interrupted by soft lips against mine. A sweet kiss with mutual feelings.
"Y/n will you go out with me?" he asked hopeful, I smiled nodding my head.

He explained the reason why he hops around with girls, at first I was shocked but soon found it cute. We liked each other and thanks to that bet we got each other.
