Missed (Jungkook)

"Y/n look there's Jennie!!" Jungkook said excitedly pointing over at Jennie. I felt sadness and jealousy rushed over me seeing the guy I liked look at another. I just gave him a smile patting his back before I stood up walking away from the lovesick bunny.

"Y/n!" A deeper voice called out, there rushing towards me was Taehyung. "Hey oppa!" I said giving him a faint smile, "Want to go to the arcade later?" He asked showing me his signature boxy smile, his smile was definitely contagious, I nodded making him jump around in excitement.

"Y/n! Why did you leave me there?" Jungkook asked rushing over. "So..Sorry, I needed to use the restroom" I lied. I just didn't want to see you look at another girl with such kindness and affection. Taehyung must've noticed my avoidance grabbing my hand. "Sorry Jungkook we better get going now, we're going on a date!" He said walking off and dragging me away from the shocked looking bunny.

Jungkook's POV

Date?! Y/n's never told me anything about going on a date, and with Taehyung?! I don't know why but my chest tightened at the sight of them walking away hand in hand.

Y/n's POV

"Come on Y/n lets get some ice cream" Taehyung cheered dragging me over to a little ice cream stand, "what would you like Y/n?" I looked through all the different flavours of ice cream and choosing the classic "Vanilla please" I said earning me a smile from Tae, "Two Vanilla's please!" He said to the cashier, handing us the ice cream we walk over to a nearby park sitting on a park bench, I noticed him glance at me with sadness in his eyes.

"Thanks for today oppa!" I said cheerfully, feeling better after our little day out, he stayed quiet just looking at me with son intensely making me blush.
"Y/n if you ever need someone, you know I'm here for you" He said with affection, I blushed even deeper getting a fluttering feeling inside me. Before bidding his farewell.

I walked inside the house my mother stood by the hall with a smirk on her face, "Who was that young man?" She asked in a teasing tone, "Just a f-friend mom" a little embarrassed, she giggled "By the way honey Jungkook's in your room" she said making me slightly confused, I rushed over to my room. I opened my bedroom door to be met with a sleeping Kookie on my bed, I smiled at the sight of him kneeling next to the bed as I played with his soft fluffy hair admiring him, giving me butterflies as I watched him sleep. (Not creepy at all) he groaned in his sleep mumbling something, "Je-Jennie" he mumbled, my eyes grew wide, detaching my hand away from him, My heart stung hearing another woman's name come out of his mouth, tears beginning to form. I rushed over to the bathroom washing it away. I grabbed my phone dialling someone I needed at the moment....Taehyung.

Jungkook's POV

I walked over to Y/n's house wanting her comfort recalling what happened earlier today after she walked off with Taehyung. "Jennie could I talk to you for a minute?" I asked shyly, smiling before nodding following me towards the roof. "Jennie I like you, please go out with me!" I said blurting it out. "I'm sorry Jungkook but...I'm already going out with Jimin" she said before walking away from me. I go up to Y/n's room looking around, I look around her room spotting a picture frame, o stared down an the photo, a phone of the two of us.

I plop down on her bed feeling sleep take over me, which I gladly let take over. Even through my dream I got rejected by Jennie calling out her name as she walked off hand in hand with Jimin but soon their figure became disfigured turning into someone else and that being Y/n and Taehyung, my eyes shot open at that clutching my chest. I heard sniffling coming from the bathroom followed by a shaky voice "okay oppa" Y/n said through the phone before opening the bathroom door, her eyes were red. "Y/n are you okay?!" I asked worriedly "Yah I'm fine, I have to go" she said avoiding my eyes as I watched her run down the stairs and walking out the door.

Y/n's POV

I waited for Taehyung at the park as we planned, tears still running down my face. "Y/n!" His voice called out spotting his figure rushing over, right away I rushed over tackling him in a hug! "Are you okay?" He asked running his hand around my back, I shook my head against his chest. "It's him again right?" He said angrily to which I nodded too. He sighed before wrapping his arms around me, giving me a comforting feeling.

I blurted out all my feelings as he listened still rubbing my back which helped me calm down. "It's just hard liking someone but they like someone else" I said feeling a new wave of tears rushing out, his comforting hand left my back making me look up at him, his eyes were sad "I know how you feel" he said his voice dejected my heart clenched at the sight of him.

"What do you mean?" I asked shakily, "I've like you for a while now Y/n" He said looking straight at me, guilt rushed over me feeling bad for all the time I had nothing to talk about other than Jungkook, I must've hurt him. "O...oppa I'm sorry!" I said crying, he wrapped his arm around me comforting me, "Shh Y/n listen to me, I was happy to know you trusted me out of everyone, but" he paused pushing me away slightly. "Would you give me a chance to make you happy?" He asked his face was soft, his eyes showed affection. I smiled and nodded asking for his comforting embrace once more.

Jungkook's POV

It's been days since I last seen Y/n, I miss her. Each time I call her she ignores it, when I see her around school she avoids me rushing over to Taehyung's side. I sighed in defeat banging my head against my desk. I heard the class door open followed by a few whispers. I looked up as my eyes grew wide at the sight of Y/n hand in hand with Taehyung with a sweet smile plastered on her face, Taehyung noticed me staring as he glared at me, he smirked before snaking his arm around Y/n's waist making her blush bright red hiding against his chest. The class cooed and cheered at the two.

"Y/n" I called out to her after class but I watched as her figure disappear with Taehyung, my heart ached at the sight of her leaving hand in hand with another, with a smile so sweet. I clutched my chest feeling that tight squeeze inside and tears began to flow.

I missed my shot.
