hello, everybody. i think a lot of people are expecting there to be more of this fan fiction. i did, in fact, think of continuing it because i loved your support so much. but i think i lost the inspiration to write. a few comments reminded me that, in fact, i have made many mistakes in this.
such as making hazel such a weak character even two years after gus' death, and also hazel is a vegetarian - so why'd she eat chicken?
also, my style of writing is a lot different. i take the writing styles from a bunch of my favourite author's now and cram them together. i cringe upon re-reading this fan fiction - it wasn't actually very well written, especially compared to most works and my current works (i've improved quite a bit, i think). i think, the thing is, i don't want to write fan fictions anymore. or read them, tbh, but i could probably sit through some, depending on what they are about.
i know so many people liked this fan fic, i could tell from the comments. i'm so sorry that i've had to discontinue it so early on into the process. if you'd like me to tell you what john green has said becomes of hazel grace lancaster, then please, you need only ask. i'll inbox you.
i think the main reason i stopped writing this is simply because of what john's ending is. he has his ending, he planned an ending and everything for after the book. i don't want to ruin what he's created with a crap fan fiction.
